Can someone suggest me if this would be a good choice for UP candidate who has got 19k rank in NEET UG

preeti kataria 5th Jul, 2025

If you are a UP candidate with a NEET 2024 rank of around 19,000, it is a strong position to secure a government MBBS seat under the 85% state quota. Many government medical college in Uttar Pradesh have closing ranks between 20,000 to 27,000 so your chance in state counselling are good. However, getting a seat under  15% All India Quota might be a bit difficult, as cutoffs there are usually lower. Still, it’s important to apply for both AIQ and state counselling. Using a college predictor tool can help you shortlist the best options. Overall this is a decent rank that gives you a fair opportunity for MBBS admission.

I score 156408 rank in neet 2025 in Wes category shall I get any government MBBS college

Samriddha Pal 19th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Holding an All India Rank of 156,408 in NEET 2025 and being from the ST category makes it highly improbable to obtain an MBBS seat in a government medical college. Generally, the ST category cutoffs for NEET lie between 400 and 480 marks, translating to ranks significantly above yours in the counseling procedure.

These thresholds rely on the state quota trends from previous years, where government MBBS admissions for ST candidates typically align with those mark ranges. Even though the number of eligible candidates has slightly dropped this year—possibly reducing cutoffs—your ranking still falls outside the competitive range for the majority of state or AIQ seats.

You are still qualified to take part in both AIQ and state counselling, allowing you to consider various available options. Although securing a government MBBS seat might not be possible this year, it would be wise to explore different medical options like BAMS, BHMS, BPT, Pharm.D, or B.Sc. Nursing, where thresholds are reduced and chances are more reachable.

Hope this helps. All the best!

my score is 455 in neet 2025 being a karnataka Student can i get mbbs govt seat in goa medical College?

Bipasha 17th Jun, 2025

With 455 NEET score and being from Karnataka, getting an MBBS seat in Goa Medical College under government quota is highly unlikely, as domicile rules apply. You may explore private Karnataka colleges or other state private options.

My neet score 141 cast obc bams ke liye admission milega.

Prachi Kumari 24th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a NEET score of 141 and OBC category, it is quite difficult to get a BAMS seat in government colleges . But you may have a chance in private BAMS colleges, especially in states where cut-offs are lower. You can also try through management quota.

Cut-offs change every year, so you should check state-wise counselling updates for better clarity.

Hope it helps !

My neet score 141 cast obc bams ke liye admission milega.

OISHEE BANERJEE 17th Jun, 2025

Hey! With 141 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the OBC category, you're eligible for BAMS admission since you’ve cleared the basic qualifying marks.

That said, in government BAMS colleges across most states, the cutoff generally falls much higher—often around 400 to 500 marks. So with 141 marks, securing a seat in a government college under state or AIQ quota is very unlikely.

However, don’t lose hope. Private Ayurveda colleges often accept students with NEET scores in the 120–200 range, and many of them offer decent programs and infrastructure. These colleges may have seats available under the management quota, where admission is based on your current NEET score and availability.

If you’re open to attending a private institution, start looking at colleges in your state or region that offer BAMS. Check their counselling timelines and make sure all your documents (NEET scorecard, 12th certificate, OBC certificate) are ready.

Hope this helps!

My neet score 141 cast obc bams ke liye admission milega.

Ayush Madanpotra 28th Jul, 2025

You have passed NEET because the qualifying marks for OBC category is around 113 to 127. So, you are eligible to take part in BAMS counselling.

But your marks are low for getting a seat in government BAMS colleges. Most government BAMS colleges need at least 450 to 500 marks for OBC category. Some may even need more.

With 141 marks, you may not get a seat in any government BAMS college. But you may get admission in some private or deemed BAMS colleges, because their cutoff is lower.

So, the chance of getting a government BAMS seat is very low. But you can try for private colleges.

CAN I GET SHEAT OF BAMS/BAMS IN GMC WITH SCORE 347 IN NEET UG 2025 AS GENERAL CATEGORY

Prachi Kumari 19th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a NEET UG 2025 score of 347 and being from the General category , it is very difficult to get a BAMS seat in a Government Medical College (GMC) .

For general category, government BAMS colleges usually need scores around 400+ , sometimes even higher, depending on the state and college cut-offs.

However, you may get a seat in a private BAMS college or in AYUSH counselling under state quota. Cut-offs vary by state, so exact chances depend on your home state and its previous year cut-offs.

Hope it helps !
