Score
If you scored 258 on GATE Physics and got an interview call, that is good news. Even if the score is low, being shortlisted for IISc Bangalore shows that your profile is suitable for evaluation further.
IISc and other leading institutes consider additional measures besides the score from the GATE. How well someone performs, what subjects they studied, what purpose they share (if necessary) and, sometimes, prior research done may be decisive. Review the main topics of Physics and have an answer ready for any research or project you have worked on.
As a result, being shortlisted for GATE indicates that your background is seen as promising, despite not getting a very high score. Do your best in the interview since it will largely affect your final chances.
Your JEE Main score helps you get admission in B.Tech colleges. Different colleges have different cutoff scores based on the branch and category. If your score is above the cutoff, you can get a seat in that college. Top IITs and NITs need very high scores, while state and private colleges have lower cutoffs. After results, counselling is done where you choose colleges based on your score and rank. So, your JEE score decides which colleges you are eligible for.
With a NEET score of 473, your chances of getting a seat in a General Medical College (GMC) in India, especially in the General category, are low. The expected cutoffs for government medical colleges generally range from 550 to 650+ for the General category, and AIQ (All India Quota) cutoffs are even higher, potentially between 590-610.

ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) rank for engineering admissions in Gujarat depends on both GujCET Score (40% weightage), Class 12 PCM Score (60% weightage).... your expected acpc rank 2024 trends, GujCET Score: 48% → Normalized GujCET Score (40%) ≈ 19.2/40, Class 12 PCM (65%) → PCM Score (60%) ≈ 39/60

Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
The minimum qualifying mark for JKCET 2025 is 10 marks out of a total of 180 marks. Candidates scoring less than 10/180 marks are not considered for admission to the engineering course. While 10/180 marks is the minimum passing criteria, actual admission depends on the cut-off ranks, which depend on the category of candidate, institute, and branch.

All the best.
Thank you. Regards, Careers360 Team
You got 89 marks in MHCET 2025 out of 120 and 56.25 marks in CLAT 2025, so little bit good but not top score, but still some chance be there to get decent law college, not very high rank one, but good private or few semi government can accept this score.
MHCET score is okay for some good colleges in Maharashtra, CLAT score is bit low, so hard for NLU top colleges, but private law colleges can give admission based on these marks, you should apply wide and try both options.
1, MHCET 89 marks can give admission in good Maharashtra law college
2, CLAT 56.25 is less for top NLUs, but try for lower ranked or private colleges
3, Apply during both MHCET and CLAT based counselling rounds
4, Check for backup options in private universities too
5, Always keep documents and scorecards ready for counselling.
