Hello Preksha
With a rank of 9262, you don't have any chance of getting any seat for MCA in any NIT or other institutes/colleges through NIMCET as the closing rank of getting MCA through NIMCET is well below the rank of 9262.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET 2026 because the basic eligibility says you need to pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. There’s no issue if you passed Chemistry with grace marks, as long as you’re marked as pass in your board results.
However, for MBBS admission in government medical colleges (GMCs) or AIIMS, the percentage criteria for the general category is 50% aggregate in PCB. Since your PCB aggregate is 52.31%, you meet that requirement too. So, you are eligible for NEET and for MBBS admission in GMCs and even AIIMS, provided you clear the NEET exam with the required cutoff.
Hello,
Sorry, but still you can't get admission to the Sharda Medical College in the mop-up round. Because your marks are very low, and the cutoff for the MBBS degree in this college is very high, like you need a minimum of 500 marks to get admission to this college. Even with this, marks are unlikely to get admission in BDS or Ayush course in a private college. But you can try for a management quota or apply to another college where you meet the cutoff if you belong to a reserved category.
I hope it clears your query!!
Hello Aspirant,
To get admission in a government Ayurvedic medical college (BAMS) in 2025, generally if you are a general candidate, you will need a NEET score of about 450-520. If you are OBC/SC/ST, you may have around 400-480, depending upon the state or college.
In terms of NEET rank, generally between 40,000 and 1,00,000 rank is safe, but these rankings vary extensively depending on state quotas, reservations and number of seats available.
With a NEET 2025 score of 443 and a rank of 132578, getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college in West Bengal is unlikely for General and OBC categories, as their cutoffs typically go above 580 marks. However, if you belong to the SC category, there may be a slight chance in later rounds or in lower-tier government colleges like Bankura, Cooch Behar, Malda, or Raiganj, where SC cutoffs have previously gone down to around 420–450. You should still participate in all rounds of state counselling and keep your documents ready in case of any vacancy movement. If you don’t secure a seat, consider private MBBS colleges, AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS, or plan to reappear for NEET next year to improve your chances.

With a NEET score of 391 and All India SC category rank of 15661, it is quite difficult to get an MBBS seat under the state quota in Rajasthan .
The cut-offs for SC category in government colleges are usually higher. However, you may have a chance in private medical colleges under the SC quota. You can also try during mop-up or stray rounds.
Hope it helps !
As an OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) student with 95 percentile in MHT CET and 75 percentile in JEE Main , your chances in top government colleges in Maharashtra are limited, since OMS seats are fewer and highly competitive. However, you still have a decent chance in private colleges like VIT Pune, PCCOE, DY Patil, and MIT-WPU under the institutional or management quota . It's important to apply early and keep track of institute-level rounds for better chances.
With a NEET score of 312, getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college through the All India Quota (AIQ) is unlikely, even for reserved categories, as AIQ closing scores are generally higher. Under the State Quota, your chances depend on your category, state of domicile, and previous year cut-offs.
In some states with lower cut-offs (like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, or some northeastern states), you may get a government BDS seat or a MBBS seat in private colleges under the state quota. For SC/ST categories, MBBS chances in state colleges slightly improve. If you belong to General or OBC, options are limited to private colleges or deemed universities, where the fee can range from 8 to 20 lakh per year.
You should also consider BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or B.Sc. Nursing programs, which accept lower NEET scores and offer good career prospects.
Yes, you can appear in IIT JAM with 65% in 12th because you don't need 12th marks in IIT JAM. In IIT JAM they need your bachelor's degree, and you must have a minimum aggregate mark of 55% in this degree; then you can appear in IIT JAM. This means overall IIT JAM doesn't need 12th marks; instead, it needs bachelor's degree marks.
I hope it resolves your query!!
