i have failed in class 12th in 2017 and then reappeared the following year for every subject theory in 2018 and scored 62.5% am i eligible for companies like TCS wipro Cognizant etc?

Karamvir Singh 17th Jul, 2021

Hey,

Your placement with any of the famous company including TCS, Wipro, Cognizant etc. does not depend upon your class 12 performance. It will solely depend upon upon your performance in your bachelors/masters degree which you have chosen. Better to forget that you got a reappear and move forward. This will certainly not affect your placement at the top companies.

All the best

I have given my 12th exam in 2017 and then i gave improvement exam in 2018. So, in which year i have gap?

medsra159 17th Jul, 2021

Dear leaner,

Please mention your question in detailed, we are unable to understand the exact notion ,seems like you are talking about betterment exam

The basic rule for improvement/ betterment exam is

Students who have already passed in the board exam can rewrite the exam for satisfactionary marks

Can attend for one or more subjects ,but  taken under consideration when one attends the exam in present year only .

All the best.

i failed in 12th 2018 and currently i am preparing the syllabus for neet 2021 and i am not appearing in 12th also right now . Am i eligible for NEET 2021 ?

Anurag Khanna 16th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See for NEET only those candidates are eligible who satisfy the NEET UG Eligibility criterion which says that "you can appear for NEET 2021 if you have passed/appearing for your class 12th/PUC with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as mandatory subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB for Unreserved category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders.

But as you have mentioned that you got failed in class 12th so you must not be eligible for NEET .

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Jul, 2021
Hi

What subjects do you have in your BSc?

Technically, you are still enrolled in your BSc.

  • If you have passed your first year BSc physics with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology then you need to select the code 5 , if then not then your highest qualification with all the 3 subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10+2 and thus need to select code 2

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have already passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/Indian School Certificate Examinationwith physics, chemistry, biology and English

Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination in the year with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.

Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology.

Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who are doing BSc and has all the three of Physics, chemistry and biology in their graduation.

Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed BSc with at least any two of following subjects :-

-) Physics,

-)chemistry ,

-)biology

Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

Anurag Khanna 15th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If you had Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your 1st year then code 05 would be applicable on you otherwise your highest qualification will be considered as 10+2/Intermediate therefore Code 02 is applicable on you.

Hello!

Yes,you are eligible for NEET 2021 as you had two subjects Physics and Chemistry in your boards. So you are definitely eligible to appear in NEET 2021.

You have to use code 02 while filling the form for NEET 2021.

Students who are droppers or wish to appear NEET later after passing 12th before one or more years can use code 02 if they have passed their Intermediate/Pre-Examination degree in Science stream from any recognized Indian University/Board or other body with Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology,Physics and English as a compulsory subject. Apart from this, the qualifying exam should also have a practical exam in the above mentioned subjects.
