i have passed my 12th in 2019 can i write jee mains in 2022? please reply me . i am in tension

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 31st Oct, 2021

Hi

No, you are not eligible for jee main 2022

This is because,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of appearing 12th board examination.

Now,

your year of appearing for 12th board examination is 2019.

So, with 2019 as 12th board exam appearing year you

  • Were eligible for jee main 2019

  • Were eligible for jee main 2020,

  • Are  eligible for jee main 2021

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

--------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification.

Course

Required Criteria based on Class 12th  or equivalent

B.E/B.Tech

Passed qualifying examination with Physics and   Mathematics as compulsory subjects

along with any one of :-

----)Chemistry

-----)Biotechnology

-----)Biology

----) Technical Vocational subject.

B.Arch

Passed qualifying examination with

-----)Mathematics,

-----)Physics,

------) Chemistry

B.Planning

Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics

--------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

--------) There is no age limit to be eligible

--------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For only this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % was lifted off.

Ive cleared my 10th board exam in 2019 from WBBSE & after that Ive passed out from 10+2 board exam in 2021 from WBCSE.Now Ive taken admission in Diploma in CST 1st year (2021-2022) will I be eligible for upcoming JEE exams in 2024 after finishing my diploma course?

Aditya 30th Oct, 2021

Hi aspirant,

I am sorry to tell you that you will not be eligible to appear in either JEE main for advanced examination due to the current eligibility criteria set up by the conducting authorities. The eligibility criteria says that are candidate can appear for JEE main in three consecutive years starting from the year in which he or she appears for the board examination and for JEE advanced it is limited to two years.

So following that you can write JEE main till year 2023 and advanced till 2022. So if you choose the diploma course you will not be eligible to write those examination. However you can appear for examination simultaneously along with diploma course since you have completed your higher secondary education but if got a seat, you will have to leave diploma in between.

Hope it helps!!

I have passed 12th with pcb from rajasthan board in 2019. and now I qualified my additional maths exam and got a marksheet in 2021 from the same board. should I upload both of them in my college counseling as the course require pcm? please answer if you know.

Subhalaxmi Biswal 20th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

If you have completed 10th from Rajasthan Board which is identified institute recognized by AICTE, then you are suitable for the course you are applying for.

You are applying PCM subject combination, then you should have passed the standard maths exam to do so. You said that you have qualified for this exam separately.

Then, according to me, you must upload both the documents as for this subject combination, qualifying for the standard maths exam is essential.

I hope it helps.

Thank you.

I have passed 10+2 in 2018 and after 1 year of gap I got admitted into a private engineering college. But I want to crack neet with a very good rank.Though my biology is a little bit poor,I want to study medical in one of the best government medical colleges.Am I too late to study medical science?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 7th Dec, 2021

Dear candidate it's never too late to start any exam preparation. But problem is there if your Biology is weak, if you really wish to crack NEET exam you need to possess profound knowledge on the subject and have the proper grip of biology. Though Chemistry, Physics will also be the subjects which you have to face during the entrance but try to be strong in Bio, if you are your dedicated will definitely lead you to success. As an unreserved candidate you need to score more than 600 to get government MBBS college. So you can understand the hard work you need to do,

Good luck!!
