I gave Aadhar number by selecting "Any other Govt identity" option during registration. While application filling, my Aadhar was not getting verified though all details are correct in Aadhar (Name,DoB,Gender). So, in the confirmation page it shows Aadhar status as "Not Verified", is this ok?

Hi Ryker

You don't need to worry at all even if you haven't opted for AADHAAR NUMBER and haven't verified your AADHAAR number while filling jee main application form.

This is because,

It's not mandatory to verify your AADHAAR number.

For jee main 2022 NTA has added a box for  AADHAAR Number, but it's on voluntary basis to get it verified i. e it's completely upon you if you want to get your AADHAAR Number or not, it's not compulsory to get it verified

You can check the same on the serial no. 10 of jee main 2022 FAQ available at :-

https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/document/faq-jeemain-2022/

Now that, very limited time is there for jee main 2022 so to prepare well

  • Revise the concepts

  • practice  chapterwise important mcqs/ questions which you you would have marked for revision during your preparation.

  • solve at least previous 10 year jee main question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in your jee main preparation, careers360 brings to you JEE main crash course having all the features required to ace your preparation like smart study materials, video lectures, doubt clearing facility, mock test series etc. The link for the same is given below:-

Hello Aspirant,

What you should do is make sure that you enter the correct and valid AADHAR number and if it is correct and valid but still the issue persists then kindly turn off the tab and then re-open it and again try to register after sometime because sometimes server does not take new responses because of some technical glitches or heavy traffic.

******** But make sure to apply before March 31st 2022 as it is the last date to apply for JEE-Main 2022.********

I had given name according to my 10th marksheet while filling jee form. But my name is different in my aadhar card. Should i need to change my name in Aadhar before filing aadhar details while filling application form? Will they reject application form if the name hadnt change?

Aditya 10th Mar, 2022

Hi aspirant,

You can fill the application form for the JEE main examination with the Aadhar Card you currently have but it is strictly recommended that you should make correction to it as soon as possible. Actually at the time of document verification your Aadhar card details would be matched with the marksheet so before that you need to keep it updated. You can use your current Aadhar Card now because the Aadhaar number would remain the same but make sure to use the correct name and not what is mentioned on the document right now.

Hope it helps!!

i have filled JEE main application form with name as per aadhar and its validation is also done.In aadhar the surname is with single letter initial,But in 10&12th its full surname. Now its not allowing to change name. With this application is it allowed forexam or any problem. please suggest me

Anurag Khanna 8th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

There is nothing to worry in your case because it is understood that there are some documents that have space issues so they cannot print complete name therefore they use only initials as an abbreviation so if you have mentioned accordingly your name even with only initial of surname then also it would be considered for JEE-Main 2022.

But as we know that this time there is no correction facility to be provided by NTA for JEE-Main so if you have made any other mistake in details which might lead to the rejection of your JEE-Main 2022 application form then you can fill up a new application form with new e-mail ID and contact number if you have not made the payment of application fee yet.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 25th Feb, 2022

Hello,

If your name on class 10th certificate and Aadhaar card is same you will not face any issue even if the first name and Surname on class 10th certificate and Aadhaar card are interchanged. Ensure that the spellings are same on these two certificate. If there is not change in your name you can enclose these documents at the time of application submission for caste certificate.

Anurag Khanna 28th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can take the colored print of an e-AADHAR card issued by UIDAI but still you have 4-5 months remaining in NEET 2022 exam, by that you can get your updated AADHAR card so you should carry that original one.

You have to carry only following items to NEET examination center :-

*** NEET admit card

*** Passport size photograph

*** Postcard size photograph

*** Valid ID proof - PAN card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, Ration card

*** Mask on face

*** Gloves on hand

*** Personal transparent water bottle

*** Personal small hand sanitizer (50 ml)

For more details about guideline of NEET, you can check out the link given below :-
