Dear Rushika,
IIT Bombay is a big name in itself.
If you compare with other colleges that provide the same course, then there will only few name in comparison to it.
For Aeronautical engineering, it is also one of the top IIT and i do not have to explain more about its status.
It is a four year undergraduate full time course which costs around INR 8.33 Lakhs.
Some of the big and renowned companies and organisations come for placement for this branch. Below I am mentioning few.

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that after aeronautical engineering which kind of jobs do you get in india or Maharashtra. So,let me tell you one thing in india aeronautical branch has a bit lesser scope as compared to other core branches because there are hardly selected good companies.
But if you would do from reputed colleges like iiest shibpur,IIt Madras, iit Bombay, or any other top nits which offers good placements for aeronautical engineering branch then you surely you would be at a better place.
Usually it is recommended that after graduation you should give GATE.
Mechatronics Engineering is one of the emerging and potent field in the genre of engineering. So if you wish to study the subject then undoubtedly just go for it. This subject is an interdisciplinary subject of Mechanical and Electronics Engineering. As you are from Aeronautical Engineering then you have moderately good amount of knowledge in mechanical engineering. So you can obviously pursue and you will really feel great to study this subject.

I hope this helps.
Hello aspirant!!
Madras Institute of Technology is one of the best government colleges in Tamilnadu which come under Anna University, provides 12 courses.
According to last year, in BC quota, for aeronautical engineering, the opening cutoff was 199.33 and closing cutoff was 173. As your cutoff is 183.6, so there are lot of chances for you to get a seat in MIT campus, but it depends upon this year's cutoff and rankings.
Hope for the best!!
BEST OF LUCK!!
Dear student,
Both Aeronautical and Aerospace has similarities and has same principles. Aerospace has two sub branches namely Aeronautical and Astronautical. Aerospace is offered in most of the Colleges and Universities in India.
Aerospace deals with designing of both spacecraft and aircraft and also deals with spacecraft within the earth's atmosphere and out of it. On the other hand, Aeronautical deals with the design of aircraft which will be operated within the earth's atmosphere.
To become Astronaut, Aerospace would be better to choose because concepts in Aerospace may help you more. Also Aerospace has more scope and most of the Institutions offers this course than Aeronautical course.
Top Aerospace Courses in India are listed below.
Top Aeronautical Colleges in India are mentioned below.
Hope this helps.
All The Best!!
This is the list of colleges which offer you at diploma in aeronautical engineering which have been approved by the AICTE and which are in Hyderabad

4 mahaveer institute of science and technology Hyderabad 2,64,000.
Firstly if you want to join BTech courses after Diploma then you have to qualify lateral entry examination organized by the State government and there are no national level examination.
After Diploma many students change there area of study, so you can change it provided the college you want to study in must be a participant in the lateral entry exam.
