Hi Aspirant,
Yes you can attempt engineering entrance examinations if you want to pursue aeronautical engineering.Howeverif your college avails the course then you can change your stream after second semester of the first year.Or else you can give JEE main exam once more and try for the IIEST shibpur known for its aeronautical branch.
Hope it helps!!
Incase you are interested in Supply Chain, Logistics and Cargo Management, after a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, it would be better if you pursue a MBA in Operations and Supply Chain rather than a Masters in Industrial Engineering/Production. MBA in Operations and Supply Chain has excellent career scope and placement prospects in India.

VIT is a very good college for CSE and IT and also for other engineering branches. The placement here is quite decent. However VIT does not offer aeronautical engineering or aerospace engineering as course. You can try some other branches in this college if you get chance since the college is very good inclusive of infrastructure, faculty and placements.

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Admission Test (AME CET) is a national entrance exam for degrees in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering at government-approved institutions.
Hello,
You got 60% so your score is 31 to 40. Your rank is between 385534 to 264383. You didn't mention the which category student you are. Because general category student cutoff 90%. So in this rank you didn't get government college. So I'll suggest you give the 2nd phase of JEE Mains examination 2021. Or you can give another engineering entrance test. It will be better for you.
All the best.
If you are interested in pursuing a career in the Aerospace Industry, you should build your foundations strongly with a B.Tech in Aeronautical/ Avionics/Aerospace Engineering, presumably followed by Masters/Postgraduation from some of the Top Higher Technical Institutes in India like Top IITs, IISc Bangalore and so on.
