sir or mam i m from West Bengal .. Im in 12 standard PCM ... can i get admission in institute of aeronautical engineering (b tech- aeronautical engineering) .. ? please answer my question its very important

S. Saha Student Expert 8th Oct, 2020
Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigal offets admission to B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering on the basis of marks obtained in the TS EAMCET. 70% of the total seata filled with TS EAMCET score while 30% seats are reserved for Management quota and NRI students. And additional 20% seats are available for diploma holders who join directly in the second year of the course through TS ECET exam. As you are from West Bengal so it seems you didn't appear for TS EAMCET as there are some domicile rules. But you can try for Management quota seats. The minimum qualification required is that the candidate must has passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Optional Subjects. advantage of taking integrated cource of aeronautical plus AME

Mohit Gupta 26th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant

Aeronautical or aerospace engineering teaches us with the design and manufacturing of aircraft while AME trains one for servicing the aircraft. In the aviation industry, aeronautical engineers, aircraft maintenance engineers and pilots are indispensable, though their duties are different. If you are looking for a career change or additional benefits then Integrated Program may help you advance your basic degree and also help you explore areas in the other fields too. Another major advantage of such a course is that you may also gain versatility and add an additional course to your professional portfolio.

Hope this information is helpful for you.

All the best for your bright career ahead.

which one is best for aerospace or aeronautical engineering, Chandigarh university or Veltech

aawezk11 2nd Oct, 2020
Hello,

I'll recommend you Chandigarh University better for aerospace or aeronautical engineering as compared to vel tech University.

In Chandigarh University the placement stats are really good on the other hand vel tech University fails to provide much placement to it's students. Aeronautical engineering is not a well established branch in India yet ,most of the students end up taking jobs in IT fields but if you're to choose between CU and Vel tech I'll definitely recommend you Chandigarh University.

Hope this helps!
