Hey
Being a general candidate , with a rank of 72000, there are negligible chances of getting a seat in top aeronautical engineering colleges as their cutoff ranks hardly reaches upto 20 or 30k. You have chances to get a seat in civil or chemical engineering. Buti suggest you not to change your preferred course.
You can instead use JEEMAINs college predictor tool to predict the colleges , you can get on the basis of your rank.

Hello kamlesh...hope you are doing well.
I think you have chosen best course. As per your question, completing aeronautical engineering is very easy where as becoming an aeronautical engineer is a hard task. Of course an average student can study this course if he/she is passionate with the this course.
In starting it may look like something you can't do but if you keep up the spirit of becoming an aeronautical engineer then of course you can do it.
Hope this helps you..
All the best!!
