hello there!
The Department of Aeronautical Engineering was started in the year 2008. The department offers 4 year undergraduate programme, B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering. The department has a team of highly qualified, dedicated and motivated faculty and well equipped laboratories. An independent Aeronautical Engineering block called Centre for Aero science with a built up area of 72000 sq ft was inaugurated by former President of India, Bharatratna, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on July 16th, 2010. Aero Science Centre houses laboratories, classrooms, faculty rooms, sophisticated Modeling and Simulation lab, Aero science Museum, Seminar hall, conference hall and Department library. The department has a wide range of teaching activities, grouped under broad areas, namely 1. Aerodynamics and CFD 2. Aircraft Structures 3. Aircraft and Rocket Propulsion 4. Avionics 5. High Temperatures materials and composites 6. Aircraft systems and Instrumentation 7. Airframe and Engine maintenance. The department prepares the graduates to undertake design, research and maintenance activities as their careers in aeronautical and aerospace engineering.
In addition the following are the well established laboratories, in which students learn theoretical concepts through experimental practices.
i hope this helps
goodluck!
Hello Aspirant,
See KEAM stands for Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical entrance examination and as the name suggests it is only valid for admission to institutions of Kerala so if you want to take admission in Aeronautical college in any institution of Kerala then you have to appear for KEAM but if you want to take other college out of Kerala then you have various options like you can appear for JEE-Main or some Common Entrance Test which are conducted by different sates. Some colleges are there in India which can take admission in Aerospace engineering on the basis of your 10+2 score. So, I hope this information makes you clear about KEAM and other colleges.
Good Luck!!
Hi aspirant,
The previous year closing rank for aeronautical engineering in Manipal main campus was 21099 and you have obtained 260004. Hence it is difficult foe you to get there. But ut is just an approximation and hence is liable to change every year. Foe more information on other branches and colleges you can visit the following link:

Wish you all the best.
Both of the streams are good and will have a great scope in future. But take it if you have prior knowledge in it and have a good interest in physics . You will have to very creative and have to think about new ideas in college. You will have to go in deep to learn everything and should clear your concepts from beginning .
And about the two stream
Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. ... A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering would likely include both specializations, whereas a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering would focus solely on those vehicles that fly within the Earth's atmosphere . So if you have interest in designing and building you should definitely go for aerospace. The complete sum up is that it totally depends on your interest . Both will have good scope in future so go for anyone.
