Hi sir, Good day, sir i have completed my 10th grade in this year 2020, iam intrested in doing Aeronautical engineering in future, will you please guide me to choose which group i choose in my 12th standard, and after that for what exam should i give to join aeronautical engineering. Thanks,

NILUTPOL Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2020
Hello,
As you want to pursue B.tech in Aeronautical Engineering, you need to opt for Science stream in your class 11 and 12. You need to go for PCM. You can also for biology or computer science along with PCM but opting for Computer Science would be much more beneficial for you as you will go for engineering.
Aeronautical engineers have a wide range of opportunities to choose from in terms of job opportunities such as Maintenance engineer, Design engineer, management in charge, mechanical engineer etc.
For getting admission into engineering, you need to prepare for exams such as IIT JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, KIITEE and other state level engineering exams.
Here's the link for top aeronautical engineering colleges in India https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-aeronautical-engineering-colleges-in-india&ved=2ahUKEwiX5L66hLHrAhU84zgGHc0fCCkQFjAAegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw1GQ4bGg9mW1MfF4iW9ozzt
You can also join some coaching to prepare your entrance exams or also opt for the JEE Mains online coaching by Careers 360 which provides online video lessons frequent mock tests and previous year question papers and many more. It's all for just Rs 6999.

Hope it helps

I got 229 in met and 73.2% in boards will I get seat in main branch of manipal for aeronautical engineering?

Raja 23rd Aug, 2020

My friend got 398 marks out of 800 and his rank was a little over 4000. So 229 marks out of 800 would not be a pretty good score, to be blunt. But these year the trends may deceive everyone a little bit due to all this chaos and pandemic. So it would be wrong to predict anything based on past trends. Yet my advice will be keep a backup idea ready in case things do not turn out the way you expect.

Good luck!

I will give you brief feedback about aeronautical engineering in Jain University,Bangalore-
  • Accredation-NAAC'A'Grade
  • Rank- 117by NIRF 2020
  • Placements- Not upto the mark because no aerospace industry is ready to hire freshers. Only a few students get placed in core companies through recommedation.

which has more scope aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering

iammohdshareef 22nd Aug, 2020
Hello,
.
First let's clear the difference between aerospace and aeronautic
.
Aerospace engineering deals with the development/manufacturing of aircrafts and spacecrafts. In means they concentrate in modifying the crafts body.
.
Aeronautic deals with the development and with manufacturing of interior parts of air crafts/ spacecrafts. In means they concentrate on making interior parts which crafts need.
.
Now, coming to job opportunities, Both the courses are well rated but aeronoutic have more opportunities when coming to aerospace. Now decision is upon you

hello there!

Jain University IIAEM is the best option if you're planning to do aerospace engineering. ... In India, there are only a few institutions for aerospace engineering and among them Jain University IIAEM is a good one.

Best college for placements. There are about 100% placements for circuit branches and for the non-circuit branches, fewer .

The average package is about 3.5 lakhs. The best package includes 10 lakhs to 14 lakhs. For every 100 students, 85 students get placed. Many more students get internship Oppertunities.

IT companies include Mu Sigma, Accenture, Infosys, L&T, Bosch and many other top companies.

In areo branch, there are 3 companies, Quest Global, Bell and Textron.
