which is best software engineer or aeronautical engineer.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 7th Apr, 2020
Hello,

Computer Science Engineering (cse) or IT is way better than Aeronautical engineering in terms of availability of jobs, career wise growth etc.
At present, aeronautical engineering does not have good scope in India due to lack of interest in this sector of our government. CSE/IT is something which is the most growing field in India currently and will be in coming years too.So, i would suggest you to choose CSE/IT over aeronautical engineering. But if you have keen interest in AE then you can go for it to because its not that bad abd hopefully we will see growth in these sectors too in near future.

I hope this helps.

top 10 college for aeronautical engineering in tamilnadu with rank

Smeet Almeida 17th May, 2020

Greetings, aspirant!

There are many colleges in Tamil Nadu that offer Aeronautical Engineering.

  • IIT, Madras
  • Madras Institute of Technology
  • SASTRA University
  • Hindustan Institute of Technology
  • Kumaraguru College of technology
  • Rajalakshmi Engineering College
  • SNS college of technology
  • Banari Amman institute of Technology

These are some of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu for Aeronautical Engineering.

However, it is to be noted that this is not a ranked list for Tamilnadu especially, as the official list includes colleges from all over the country. Also, it would be difficult to rank these colleges ourselves as each of these institutions are, in one aspect or another, better than some other institutions in this list. Some offer better campuses, while others offer better placements. So the college you choose comes down to your preferences and conveniences.

Hope this information helped you!

Best of luck!!

different between aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering

S. Saha Student Expert 15th May, 2020
Aerospace engineering deals with development of aircraft and spacecrafts. It has two major branches aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Aeronautical engineering is the branch where you'll get to know about the airplanes and their mechanism. Aeronautical engineering is a field where you will deal with the study of the objects within the Earth's atmosphere such as airplanes, helicopters etc whereas aerospace engineering deals with the outside objects of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites etc.

What is the average package for an aeronautical engineering in sastra

Rachit Bansal 11th May, 2020

Admissions in Sastra Deemed to be University are on the basis of JEE Mains ranks. Aeronautical engineering in Sastra is the third best engineering branch (on the basis of placements and JEE Mains ranks). There are few institutes in India which offer Aeronautical engineering and Sastra is one of them. Most students prefer to apply to ISRO after the degree but many also look for placements in corporate sector. This year's average placement package was around Rs 4 lakhs and the highest package was about Rs 10 lakhs. The placements are getting better every year and hope the average package goes higher next year.

can you please tell me about aeronautical engg, careers, jobs, chances in india.. etc?

Neha Kanwar 10th May, 2020

Hello Adarsh,

With a large number of aircraft industries, India has now a very high scope of good placements for aeronautical engineers. After BTech in Areonautical Engineering, you can work with the ISRO, NASA, DRDO, HAL, NAL, MRO, etc.

An average graduate aeronautical engineer can earn around INR 45,000 in India while it could be higher as much as twice for post graduated aeronautical engineers.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!
