I got 14012 rank in APEAMCET 2020 Should I got free seat in S.V.U for Ag BSc and belongs to S.C. Category female

arpan00002 11th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You got rank around 14k in ap eamcet.

Now, see, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), Tirupati is ranked at 2nd spot in Andhra Pradesh by NIRF in the year 2020. So, it's one of the top colleges in AP. So, minimum rank required for this college is also so high.

Probably, you will not get a seat here. But, you may try. A list of colleges for you is given here:

1. Maris Stella college, Vijayawada

2. Hindu College

3. College of Veterinary science

4. Maharajah's College

5.Andhra University

6. Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur

Here is an ap eamcet college predictor tool for your help:

if I get 22305 rank in ap eamcet can I get ag bsc seat.lam belonging to Bc-b category

Nimish Yadav 10th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirants ,

Looking at your rank 22305 in AP EAMCET and belonging to BC-B category you are just slightly above cutoff . The cutoff for BSc agriculture is about 19000 rank and you are just little far . But it doesn't mean you can't seat you must still apply for the college's . Cause to feel the vacant seat the cutoff decreases .

Hope it will help you !!!

Hope you are doing good in this pandemic situation. Let me tell you honestly that your plank is quite good and you will be able to get a BSc agricultural seat.

You have chances of getting a BSc agricultural sheet at Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur, and also Andhra University.

Jawahar Bharati College in Nellore is also a good option as the fee structure is quite affordable.

how its possible that rgsc gives ug degree for bsc ag. in 2 years while bhu gives degree in 4 years. for the same course ?

Srushti Chipde 13th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

BSc agriculture can be pursued in various colleges within 3 to 5 years depending on the curriculum that is determined by that particular institute. You can choose the place and institute that meets your requirements. Also RGSC (Rajiv Gandhi south campus ) offers BSC (hons.) in agriculture which is a two year course.

I hope that cleared your doubt.
