i have got 75% marks in both 10th /12th . and currently pursuing bsc Agriculture . Am i eligible for any top IIMs for ABM course, and what percentile should i have in CAT and bsc ag.

Harshit 28th Jul, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

A score of around 90 percentile should definitely invoke a call provided academics are good ( above 85% throughout). A background in agriculture/allied sector would give a slight advantage over other candidates provided one meets other requirement. However over the past few year there have been almost an equal strenght of non-agri background student. Ideally if other condition met, percentile should not fall below 85. Even if it fetches 80, there would be low chances of conversion, unless one is exceptionally good.

All the best!!!

which course is better, when compare to civil engineering and bsc ag

Mayank Chowdhary 4th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Both the courses are good and their own opportunities. Both the fields are also quite different so you have to first tell what you like. In case you are interested in biology side that is toward plants and such subjects then go for Bsc Agriculture. If you have interest in field work or I can say in construction then go for Civil engineering. Make sure you choose what you can do and trying learning many different things. Thanks.

Sir wt is the cut off for bsc(ag) in gkvk for the year 2020-2021

Prashant D. Gaikwad 23rd Jul, 2020
So You are saying about cut off for  admission of  bsc in agriculture colleges (government). Yes there is a criteria of 50% in 12 th standard for category Students and for general students more than 70% for being in merit list of government colleges. So for best college in bsc agriculture you must have more than 75 % marks in 12 the standard. So best of luck for your admission. Thank you!!
