Dear aspirant, BSc in Agriculture is a degree with a lot of scope in future. As it is a 4 year degree course and is mainly related to the study of crops, seasons, farming and how we can use fertilizers in better way and take care of our land. Usually every college consists of hostel facility, as you have not mentoned your college so I can not clearly tell you about that, But you can easily get a room near any college as well.
Hope it helps.
All the best:)

Hii aspirants
Let me clarify you that you can go for any of the two courses. Both are unique at its level. So you can go for the field in which you are interested to pursue your education. If you want to go for agriculture engineering then no. of vacancies are there. And if you do masters from IIT college then you will get job with very good package in FMCG bussiness
But If you go for dairy technology you have to study dairy technology, dairy chemistry, dairy microbiology, dairy engineering and dairy bussiness management. So after B. Tech you will be eligible for any food industry but if you do M.Tech you would get good package.
So go according to your interest.
I hope my answer will help you out
Good luck
