Banaras Hindu University is a prestigious university which opens many gates of opportunities for it's students. And getting admission in this university is an achievement in itself.

As you might know that this year's cut-offs have not been released yet. But you can always predict whether you'll get in by checking the previous years cutoff trends. And according to last year's cut-offs:-

Cut-off marks- 265

An agriculture engineer wroks with the professional design and test agricultural machinery , equipments and parts. They have the ability to design a plant , food storage and food processing plants . They also have an idea about the most important issues like water quality and pollution control . As per study about 12 % of India's population work in agricultural industry.  The agricultural engineer works even in classrooms and laboratories . The entry level jobs starts from RS. 3.5 LAKHS per annum , but it depends on your skills and knowledge ,the salary may vary . 

So yes you can become an agricultural engineer if you have the passion of pursuing it . 

Get an admission into a good university , which will help you to become a professional in this field . 

Your overall percentile will increase because you have got more marks in state board examination. So, dont worry about that , check the cut off for the good colleges and apply there , check even the contents of the syllabus which will give you an idea whether to study the field or not .

Congratulations on scoring a decent marks. By comparing the trends it is predicted that the cutoff for B.sc in Agriculture will be 205-210. So with this score it is highly possible to make it to RGSC. It is expected that you will make it to RGSC BHU campus but if the competition is high you can try for Mirzapur campus also.
