Which is better option BSC ag. Or BSC it. ?

Yash Vardhan Singh 30th Jun, 2019

Hello Ritik,

I'll suggest you to go with B.Sc Agriculture as in upcoming days this branch will be emerging as one of the biggest market.

There are many Agriculture product companies in which you can get job easily after completing your B.Sc.

There are many state and central Agricultural Universities across India in which you can take admission.

For higher studies also Agriculture is a best option. After completing your B Sc you can pursue M.Sc from ICAR institutions or you can also do it from foreign universities as this branch has a great scope outside India also.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck!!

Poulami Mazumder 28th Jun, 2019
Hi dear,

Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans).

Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc. Average starting salary is generally between 2-4.5 Lakh Rupees per year.

Hope this helps
