Will have admission for Bsc agriculture

lisa 17th Jun, 2025

A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (Bsc agriculture) concentrates on the scientific and technological aspects of agricultural practices. To participate in this program, students usually need to have completed a 10+2 education with science subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics/agriculture from a recognized board. Entrance exams such as the ICAR AIEEA UG, Common Entrance Examination (CUET), or state-level tests are typically mandatory, although some universities provide admissions based on merit.

I have got 17000 rank in bsc agriculture practical and i have got 33k in kcet examination can i am able to get seat in bsc agriculture? Anybody please reply to my question

Kishan Bhakat 12th Jun, 2025

hi,

With a 17,000 rank in B.Sc Agriculture Practical and 33,000 rank in KCET, your chances of getting a seat in B.Sc Agriculture in top government colleges may be a bit tough because agriculture seats are usually in high demand and the cutoff ranks for government colleges are much lower, especially for general category students.

But you may still have a chance to get a seat in private agriculture colleges or affiliated universities where the cutoff goes higher. Also, your category (like SC, ST, OBC, or GM) and region (Hyderabad-Karnataka or local area) can make a difference in seat availability.

Agriculture and pharmacy emset rank vs college

Shubham Jha 11th Jun, 2025

Dear student,

Agriculture Courses (B.Sc Ag, Horticulture, BVSc, BFSc):
For top government colleges like Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, the closing ranks for B.Sc Agriculture are typically between 1,000 and 3,000 for general category students. Reserved category students (SC/ST/BC) can get seats at higher ranks, often up to 6,000 or more . B.Sc Horticulture usually closes between 2,000–6,000 , and BVSc & AH and BFSc have cutoffs around 1,000–5,000 , depending on the college and category. Private colleges tend to admit students at even higher ranks.

Pharmacy Courses (B.Pharmacy, Pharm-D):
Top government and reputed private colleges close B.Pharmacy admissions around 2,000–10,000 for general category, and up to 50,000 or more for reserved categories. Pharm-D programs in good institutes close around 2,000–6,000 , with private colleges accepting up to 30,000+ .

I have 14000 rank in EAPCET I am female non-farmer bcb caste For bsc agriculture will I get a free seat

hemanth kumar 10th Jun, 2025

Since you have a rank of 14,000 and you are a female non-farmer under BC-B category, your opportunity for a place in BSc Agriculture depends on several aspects including cutoffs, vacant seats, and reserved seats.

Here are some points to consider:

For BC-B students, the likely closing rank to get into Osmania University is expected to be between 2,000 and 3,000. Still, the thresholds are set for engineering courses, and the requirements for agriculture may be different.

- College-wise Cutoffs: Check the specific cutoffs for BSc Agriculture in colleges you're interested in. There are colleges where candidates from BC-B category are welcome with lower cutoffs.

- Reservation Benefits: As a BC-B candidate, you'll have reservation benefits, which can improve your chances of getting a seat.

If you hope to get accepted into the BSc Agriculture discipline, you should keep the following points in mind.

Look into the websites of colleges that have BSc Agriculture programs, and find the BC-B category admission criteria.

- Contact Colleges Directly: Reach out to the colleges' admission offices to inquire about cutoffs, seat availability, and any additional requirements.

Attend the EAPCET counseling sessions to get details on the seats and colleges you can look at.

Some colleges to consider for BSc Agriculture are:

- Agricultural colleges under Telangana Agricultural University

- College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar

- S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati
