How to check seat allotment in agriculture sector. 2025

Anushree Thakare 17th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

To check your seat allotment in the agriculture sector for 2025, you'll need to navigate to the official website of the relevant entrance exam or counseling authority.

Typically, you'll find a dedicated "Seat Allotment" or "Counselling" section.

You'll likely need to log in using your application number and password to view your allotment status.

For ICAR AIEEA 2025, you would visit icar.nta.nic.in , and for the Maharashtra BSc Agriculture, you would visit cetcell.mahacet.org (//cetcell.mahacet.org)

Thank you!!

My agricultural practical rank is 4322 and my catagary is 3a rural can i get bse agriculture seat

Anushree Thakare 17th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

It is difficult to definitively say whether a rank of 4322 in the 3A rural category will get you a BSc Agriculture seat.

Admission depends on various factors including the specific college, the number of seats available in your category, and the overall competition for those seats.

Each college has its own cutoff scores or ranks for each category. These cutoffs can vary significantly between institutions and even from year to year.

Some universities may consider entrance exam scores (like those from ICAR AIEEA, CUET, or state-level exams) in addition to your practical rank.

  • Try to find the cutoff ranks for the colleges you are interested in for the 3A rural category in previous years.
  • Visit the websites of the colleges offering BSc Agriculture and look for their admission criteria and cutoff information.
  • Reach out to the admissions departments of the colleges you are interested in and inquire about the competitiveness of your rank and the likelihood of getting a seat.
  • If your rank is not competitive for your preferred colleges, explore other colleges or universities with potentially lower cutoffs or look into alternative agricultural programs.
  • If your chosen universities conduct entrance exams, focus on preparing well for them to improve your chances.

Thank you!!

Sir I get 17232 in agriculture kcet and in agriculture practical exam my rank is 8340, can I get seat in bsc forestry in Karnataka, in college of forestry sirsi or ponnampet

Vasundhra 5th Jun, 2025

Dear Candidate ,
With a KCET agriculture rank of 17,232 and a practical exam rank of 8,340 , you have a fair chance of securing a B. Sc ( Hons ) . Forestry seat in Karnataka, particularly at the Colleges of Forestry , Sirsi or Ponnampet . Both colleges had previous year cutoffs around 9,000-11,000 in practical rank , so your rank falls within or close to the closing range . Your chaces improve if you belong to a reserved category . Make sure to participate in all counseling rounds , including mop-up and regularly check the  KEA official website for updates .

Hello Navya Jyothi,

To join a B.Sc. Agriculture course after 12th with biology and 65% marks, follow these steps:

  • You must have completed 12th with biology and meet the minimum marks requirement (usually 50%).

  • Admission in Andhra Pradesh is mainly through the AP EAPCET entrance exam for agriculture courses.

  • Prepare for AP EAPCET, which tests biology, physics, and chemistry.

  • After the exam, participate in counseling for seat allocation based on your rank.

  • Some private colleges may also offer direct admission based on merit or management quota.

  • Popular colleges offering B.Sc. Agriculture in Andhra Pradesh include Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) in Guntur, Sri Venkateswara Agricultural College in Tirupati, and Agricultural College in Bapatla.

  • Fees in government colleges usually range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 55,000 per year. Fees vary in private colleges.

  • Most government and private agricultural colleges provide hostel facilities for girls. Confirm availability directly with the college.

Mai bsc agriculture ki student hun aur maine msc intrace ki koi entrance appear nhi ki hun to kya jungarh univercity me mera admission agronomy me ho jayega

Anushree Thakare 1st Jul, 2025

Hello student,

According to the official information, generally, a B.Sc. Agriculture graduate needs to appear for an entrance exam to get admission to an M.Sc. program in Agronomy at Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU).

It typically uses a merit-based system that combines the candidate's previous degree (OGPA/percentage) and their score on a entrance exam for M.Sc. admissions.

Check the official JAU website for the specific M.Sc. Agronomy admission notification. http://www.jau.in/coa/index.php/academic/3-initsection/academic/41-admission
