AICTE
Hello aspirant,
Every institute nad government has their own guidelines for giving scholarships. Some give on merit and some give on financial condition of the family. And its rare that, someone gets scholarship on cgpa every year. So, if you have any reservation, definitely you will get scholarship. And any other category, it depends on the guidelines given.
LPU is UGC approved, so there is no need for AICTE approval.
LPU is one the best private university which is recognized by :
The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP Diploma or PGDM since they are autonomous and independent bodies.
PGDM was declared equivalent to MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) on 3rd April 2008.This MBA equivalence has been renewed by the AIU from time to time continuously since 2008.
The program is a 2-year, full time programme is AICTE approved and is comparable to those offered by some of the best business schools in the country.
The two year full time Post Graduate Programme comprises of four semesters. The first two terms focus on Foundation and Application aspects of management and the last two terms focus on Specialization and Integration with global developments in different areas of management.
There are few reasons why you need to consider a PGDM program :
A gateway to entrepreneurial and business skills: Growing entrepreneurship trend helps students and make them keep to develop their career in entrepreneurship. Development skills set would encourage students to open their own firms after completion of PGDM course.
Specialization: The best part of PGDM course offers several specialized courses and electives. Some of PGDM program’s include Project Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Media Management and extents the range of MBA programs.
Interaction and training sessions with industries: During PGDM courses various opportunities will be given to start internships with industries and helps in filling the gap between industry and academics and gives exposure to students.
Career options after PGDM
One can have an amazing career opportunity after PGDM in big private companies.
However PGDM courses that are well recognized by the industry can give you higher-level jobs.
Students can expect decent starting pay packages an average being 5-6 Lakhs / Annum.
By earning a PGDM degree from top institution individuals can broaden their educational horizons and also hope to get the leadership positions.
PGDM not only helps prepare professionals in areas with a large requirement at national level but also at international level.
PGDM covers various subjects such as accounting, economics, finance, operations management, marketing, organizational behavior and project management and many more.

hi,
see there is some bit difference in course structure of msc in computer science and mca i.e master of computer application, mca course has the syllabus of computer programming mainly, consists of different high level language application and coding methodology, candidates after passing mca may work as an programmer, whereas msc course is mainly mathematics oriented and deep study involved in using data analytics, system analysis and design, advance computer application.
as far as indian industry demand mca is more relevant to get job in mncs.
Hello Aspirant,
There are some of the polytechnic or diploma colleges which are affiliated by AICTE, now as your University is affiliated by UGC , which is also satisfactory, however it also depends on the organization or recruitment criteria , if it mentioned that AICTE approval than it is necessary, then you may not eligible to apply.
Now coming to central government jobs, according to the the eligibility criteria for SSC JE for diploma holders, where it requires candidates must pass diploma course from a recognized institute, so since there is no mention of AICTE, you can apply for that.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
