Though admission in Aiims for MBBS is through NEET, it has its own eligibility criteria which is given below:-

For more details checkout its official website at:-

NOTE :-  Important thing to note is while AIIMS considers aggregate in PCBE i. e physics chemistry biology and English  ,  Neet considers only PCB aggregate.

As admission in aiims is through neet , so you need to appear in neet and thus you need to be eligible for it as well.

For your reference,

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-------------------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit  of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit. For details about it checkout :- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-number-of-attempts-and-age-limit

Hi there. In response to your query the organising committee for the examination has the rule that the Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates should have scored 40% of passing marks in Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in aggregate in the qualifying examination . As you are well above that percentage you would be eligible for the examination.

Hope this answer helps; best wishes
