Hello aspirant,
Yes, it is important to give entrance test and once qualified you can get admission into Aligarh muslim university.
AMU does not even accepts CLAT score as well.
It has its own enyrance exam for admission in ballb.

Hello aspirant,
Online application form for admission to class 11th under self finance scheme will be available from 10th august 2019 for the year 2019 on the official websitite of Aligarh muslim university.
The sooner you fill the form the better chances you have of getting admission.
I will advice you to submit the form by yourself rather than PO.
DD of rs 100 is required.

After all admissions of selected and chance memo and all categories there will be forms released by university accordingly who will fill earlier their forms then they may get broader the chance other he or she will not able to take admission because there is also lesser seats for evening shift.

AMU Eligibility for B.Sc in Life Sciences/Science

Students passed in Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany/Zoology, the students must be passed in Biology subject at Class 12thlevel

For B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics/ Computer Applications, the students must have passed Mathematics as the main subject at Class 12thlevel.

AMU campus is established newly, explaining the lack of placements. However students are allowed to sit for placements through the concerned cell in the main branch of AMU in Aligarh. The aluminy network of AMU is quite wide as it is century old university. Students of AMU law departments engaged in internships from the supreme court, high courts, national judicial academy Bhopal etc
