AMU campus is established newly, explaining the lack of placements. However students are allowed to sit for placements through the concerned cell in the main branch of AMU in Aligarh. The aluminy network of AMU is quite wide as it is century old university. Students of AMU law departments engaged in internships from the supreme court, high courts, national judicial academy Bhopal etc

Where I can get the application form for mbbs course in amu

Hi Madan,

There‘s no separate form for MBBS in ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY. Admissions to Mbbs is through All India Central Universities Counselling. You need to register for it through mcc.nic.in and you need to select the option for AMU. As of now, you can register for the mop up round which will begin from 13 August 2019 and payment facility is upto 16 August. Choice filling is on 16 August and result will be declared on 19 August 2019.

How to get admission in AMU or BHU for MBBS

For AMU
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) offers the program under its faculty of Medicine. The programs offered by the university are MBBS & BDS.
Both the programs have their roots in the Medicinal background. AMUinvites the application of the candidates on the basis of NEET scores.
NEETis a national level exam conducted by CBSE, for the admissions in MBBS/BDS.
Candidate should study Biology as one of the main subjects in its intermediary studies.The registration for the program will begin in the month of May and will last till the month of June.
Aspirants will be charged the registration fees of INR 500/- which is to be paid by Debit/Credit card/Net banking.
FOR BHU
No separate entrance exam.
A student must clear NEET for the respective fields.
The candidates must have passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% in English, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry together.
The SC/ST candidates can apply even with 40% marks.
The candidates who are currently appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply.

how to get admission in central universities like BHU , AMU after round 2 of MCC

Hi Rahul, 

All basic informations about admission in central medical universities are as follows :-

Central Universities Counselling Details:-

  • Delhi University (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC): 15% Seats in these colleges will be contributed to All India Quota. Those who have studied 11th & 12th grade in Delhi are eligible for the remaining 85% Institutional Quota
  • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU): There will be 50% Institutional reservation for those who have studied from their schools for the last 3 years based on the list of enrolled eligible candidates, provided by AMU. The remaining 50% seats will be open to all eligible candidates for NEET.
  • BHUAll candidates who are eligible for NEET counselling will be eligible to participate in BHU Counselling for all seats of BHU
  • Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi: 3 seats of BDS are under internal quota of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. Students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying examination (X or XII) from Jamia Schools as regular students are eligible for participation under internal quota of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. The remaining 47 seats of BDS open to all, will be allotted as per the category mentioned in seat matrix.


Process of 2nd round counselling in any central medical colleges / universities :-

  • Publication of net vacant seats
  • Registration & Fresh Choice submission by eligible candidates for 2nd Round (not required by already registered candidates)
  • Process of Seat Allotment-2nd Round (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)
  • Round 2 Result Publication
  • Reporting at the Medical / Dental Colleges /Institutions against 2nd Round (candidates once joined the allotted seat against 2nd Round are not allowed to vacate the seat)
  • END of 15 % All India Counselling and reverting of Non Joined, Not Allotted seats to state quota
