Which university is best for msc in museology..,AMU or Culcutta Univrsity?Which University has better educationl ratings in general?

Anuj_1525372683 Student Expert 29th Jul, 2019

Hi there

AMU - Aligarh Muslim University has better ratiings in general and is a good choice for M.Sc.

Placements in the college are fine. Almost 50-60% of the students get placed in the campus placements. The salary packages offered by the companies are satisfactory. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Many students get internship opportunities which helps them a lot in making their career. There is a general training and placement cell which provides resources to the students for improving their skills. It is very efficient as per the student's point of view.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. There is greenery all around the campus. The campus is huge and spacious with lots of resources like the library. It is Asia's largest library, equipped with a large number of books, research papers, journals, etc. Smart classrooms are also available. The whole campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility.

Faculty members in AMU are one the best, well-experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are always in the department just to help the students all the time. There are sufficient faculty members for the strength of students enrolled in various courses in the department.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 28th Jul, 2019
Hello,
The Polytechnic Department in AMU was establisted in 1937.Now the course that you have asked for are Diploma in Engineering(Electrical) and Diploma in Engineering(Instrumentation and Control). Now both these diploma courses have their own perks.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering course is a 3 years course which can be pursued directly after 10th board exams along with 50% marks minimum and Maths as a compulsory subject.AMU provides placement and training. The course mainly focuses on the practical aspects of electricity power generation, design and equipment.
Diploma in Engineering(Instrumentation and Control) is a 3 years course offered by AMU.The course mainly focuses on management of parameters and development of control systems. The eligibility is the same as above and AMU provides placements along with trainings.
AMU provides placements for the students in the diploma engineering departments.Top companies visit the campus for campus placements.
Now the decision is yours.

My sister has passed MSc home science food & nutrition. She wants to take admission in post graduate diploma in daititionfrom AMU.

Ns Student Expert 28th Jul, 2019

Hii aspirant..

There is no issue if your sister wants to to pursue post graduation diploma course in dietetics and Food Technology if you are successfully passed Har undergraduation in B.Sc. (Pass/Hons) Home Science or BSc (Hons) Food Technology, BSc Microbiology, BSc Biochemistry, BSc Nursing, MBBS.

If she have done her MSc from home science food and nutrition there is no issue as the eligibility is just that the candidate need to have successfully passed the BSc(pass or Honours) course in any of the above mentioned departmen with aggregate percent of 55 or more.

Hope it helps.

Best of luck.

Sir I have passed 12th bio with 78 percent marks in CBSE board. But I have got admission to diploma in Electrical Engineering (AMU).

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019
Hello dear student,
Greetings,
I will suggest you to completely focus on neet if you really want to become a doctor as neet is not that easy,  it's a tough nut to crack due to large number of aspirants and very limited number of seats. So in order to crack neet you will have to completely focus on it which you will not be able to do if you do your neet preparation along with your diploma.
So , I want you to take some time and make a wise decision.
Thankyou

previous year cuttoff for m tech in electrical engneering in amu entrance test

Satyam Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019

See for admission in aligarh muslim university you should be having more than 500 sore in gate exam, then you will be directly shortlisted for admission. But i you have less than 500 marks then   you need to give departmental test and in that test you need to score around 50 to 70 marks. Based on your test score and gate score, final merit list is prepared and students are admitted .
