what fee should I have to pay if I get 90%scholarship in amrita university
HI,
Based on ranking in the amrita entrance exam, they give scholarship. Totally about 230 scholarships are given ( 10% of total seats). scholarships amounts are : 25% , 50% and 90% of tuition fees. For less than 1000 ranks students may get 90% scholarship. Upto 2000 , possibility for 50% scholarships . Upto 4000, possibility for 25% scholarships. Scholarships are evenly spread to all branches based on the quantum of intake. For example the popular branches like mechanical and ECE, better ranking students shall opt for it and hence during counselling scholarships may be finished for even for ranks lesser than 1000. Not so popular branches such as aeronautical, scholarships may be available for even for ranking above 6000 also.
Scholarships which can be availed at Amrita University are of two types-
1.Scholarships for GATE qualified candidates: As per the norms of AICTE, all the GATE qualified candidates receive a Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs. 12,400/per month from the Government of India. All the M. Tech. Programs of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are approved by AICTE for GATE scholarships.
2. Scholarships offered by Amrita University: Students can avail scholarships to the tune of Rs 1 lakh per year for M.Tech programs and scholarships of Rs 10 lakh per student on joining integrated M.Tech and PhD courses. Highly motivated students are also given ample opportunities to pursue dual degree programs with universities in Europe, US and Australia.
It depends on which campus you are studying in. The fee structure
For Coimbatore is around 3.5 lakhs per year approx
Banglore campus : 3.2 approx
Amritapuri : 2.8 - 3 approx
I have mentioned the complete fee structure which includes hostel, CD etc
Hope this helps.

WHICH IS MORE DEMANDED COURSE IN AMRITA UNIVERSITY. NORMAL CSE OR CSE WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. WHICH HAS MORE SALARY PACKAGE.
Dear candidate
Based on the ongoing demands and career prospects scenario the value of Artificial Intelligence course is growing exponentially. This is because in the upcoming times the majorly used existence for living will be based on Artificial Intelligence but if you consider the specific course outcome then without going for a hybrid course it would be better if you opt for core computer science engineering course. And if you really wish to possess the knowledge of AI course you can go for some additional Artificial Intelligence course available at Coursera, Udemy website.
Good luck!!!
what is the last date to apply for Amrita university Coimbatore
For LLB 3 YEAR ADMITION DETAILS
which course is better in Amrita University Coimbatore. Cse or Cse with artificial intelligence. which one has more salary package
Hi,
Machine learning and Artificial intelligence has wide scope in all engineering disciplines and has wide area of application, in near future demanding of AI and ml will be higher, whether in current market scenerio data science is also demanding, if you have interest for statistics and probability oriented functional approach you should take cse with data science.
The thing that stands out with CSE AI is the fact that it’s brand new. The syllabus is freshly designed and I have to admit, it looks exciting ( you can find the syllabus on Amrita’s website) - it is focused and it doesn’t totally neglect CS fundamentals. The coursework is mostly projects, rather than leaning on an exam-oriented approach. It might be more “intense” than the traditional CS - but that is something relative so don’t rely on that. Overall, it sounds exciting - choose it, if you know what you are doing. Don’t make ‘blind’ decision solely based on the fact that you hear that “AI” is the next big thing or not. Make your own research, try to understand what “AI” is really about, try to find what the fields within it are (it’s a huge, huge area) - you can find anything from low level data analytic jobs working with spreadsheets and that is “AI” to PhD-research-level stuff - and where you can end up depends on your interest and your passion, and to discover both, it takes time and effort from your side. If you don’t like AI, don’t choose it and that should be obvious. Your normal CS course would give you a taste of almost everything in CS. If you still have no idea, try to find seniors, alumni and faculty and talk with them directly.
On a final note, anything new has its own ‘risk’ simply because of the fact that it is new and hasn’t stood the test of time. That being said, both of them are pretty good choices.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
