All the colleges mentioned by you the leading private Engineering colleges of India. Out of these Vellore Institute of Technology is the best with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham just behind it. Vellore Institute of Technology is the highest ranked private Engineering College of India followed by Amrita University and both colleges are known for its amazing placements, infrastructure and the environment it provides to the students. Following this MIT comes the next with very good placement opportunities but it is is costly in terms of academic fee. SRM institute of science and technology comes next in the list with the main campus in Chennai being one of the most reputed institution in the country. Kalinga Institute of industrial technology is at the same level with SRM but only thing is it is better known for Computer Science and Engineering only.
Rest of the colleges mentioned by you are still growing and can be considered at same level and you can choose among them as per your wish and convenience but tech Mahindra edges slightly over others.

AEEE(Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering ) conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is an entrance exam for admission in every Amirta University campuses (Amritapuri , Coimbatore and Bangalore ) for BTech courses , you do not have to apply separately for each colleges as this exam covers all the colleges.
It is a computer based online examination of 2 and a half hour and the application fees is 1000 rupees.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will release the AEEE 2022 application form at the official website - amrita.edu. However you need to complete your registration for 2022 first and then only you will be eligible for AEEE exam.

Is there gym at amrita university kochi campus?
Amrita University has Gym facility at both girls hostel and boys hostel, the University has several other facilities as well such as boys hostel, girls hostel, library facility, sports facility, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facility, Wi-Fi facility, transport facility, Bank facilities etc.

I have a low 6.8 GPA with 6 backlogs in my bachelors from tier 2 university(amrita university) and I have 1 research project and paper, I have done one project. my GRE score is 319 and my IELTS is 7. will I be able to get admission from good colleges in us for masters or should I choose the UK?
Hi, the information that you have shared is a little incomplete. It really depends on what specialization you are going to take and in which college. Your GRE score is good and so is your IELTS band. If your research based project is related to what you are going to do your specialization in then the chances of you getting into the good universities are high. You can try for UK as well but most of the courses in UK are of 1 year and masters of 1 year is not globally accepted. So, if you are planning to come back to India at some point with your Masters degree or at any other place for that mater the certificate won't be valid as 1 year masters are not globally accepted. Will there be a change in slab if we get 8 and above CGPA in the first year of amrita university (currently alloted slab 4 )?
In amrita University , the slab only change if you continuosly score more than 8 or above CGPA
So taking this in mind you need to score continuosly more than that so that your will be getting good
And currently your slab is 4 so continuity is the factor which helps you to get good CGPA and slabs
So you need to consistent in your study
