In this rank there are chances for you to get Electronics and communication and electrical and electronics branch. But there are other factors which govern the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of questions.

1) AMRITA: IT IS ESTABLISHED IN 2003 AND DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY. ITS NIRF RANKING IS 8TH AND  HAS GOOD PLACEMENT WITH AVERAGE 4.2 LAKH AND HIGHEST AROUND 27 LAKH.

2) SASTRA: IT IS ESTABLISHED IN 1984 AND DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY. ITS IS OLD UNIVERSITY AS COMPARE TO AMRITA. ALL IT HAS GOOD PLACEMENT WITH AVERAGE 5 LAKH.

SO CHOOSE WISELY.

Amrita is one of the top universities.

Go for Coimbatore, it is the best.

Everything will be good.

But the rules are strict, there will be a traditional environment.

If you are okay with it, you can definitely opt for that.

In Amrita University the scholarship is awarded on the basis of your all India merit rank. Once the admission window closes and seats are filled. Top 171 or 81 rank holders at each campus are awarded scholarships.

Hi  , 

AEEE or amrita entrance doesn't follow its admission pattern in previous years. Since you belong to an open category and you have a rank below 5000 , you might not have a chance of getting cs branch . There are others in the same open category who got a rank of 2100 and yet didnt get CS at Coimbatore or Bangalore campuses . You might get an admission at the Amritapuri campus maybe.
