I got 53 marks in AEEE and 67%le in JEE MAINS then is there is a chance of getting seat in AMRITA COLLEGE for ECE

Rohit K Bhat 10th Aug, 2021

Hello dear aspirant

The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is becoming really hard these days because of the huge demand.

According to your mentioned marks and previous year trends, your rank might be in the range : 30,000-40,000 (this may or may not be accurate due to varying trends every year). For open state quota previous (2017) closing rank for CSE was 1813. So there aren't much chances according to this. You can try applying for ECE in their Amritapuri/Coimbatore/Bangalore campuses with this rank. Just apply to their counseling process and know the exact cutoff. You can go through all options with AEEE here -

Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!

I got 133 marks in AEEE. Will I get CSE course in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore campus and also I belong to state quota. Also what will be my predicted rank?

ktarakadivvya 9th Aug, 2021
Hi Aspirant,

As you secured 133 marks in AEEE, your expected rank will be 11001-13500. The chance of getting admission in any college/university will depends on the cut-off ranks of that respective college/university.

The previous years cut-off ranks for AEEE under state quota is:
  • Opening rank : 10001-12500
  • Closing rank : 20001-22500

From this basis, you have chances to get admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore. But the cut-off ranks will changes every year depending on the number of applications, branch and seats availablity. So it is just an prediction.

Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask more queries.

S.Suvedha 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

I got 82 percentile in AEEE 2022 and got rank 6800 and one of my friends got 91-2 percentile and rank round 3000. By this score, I can get into cse amritapuri. Since you are from Bangalore and i assume you did your 11th and 12th there, then you will get state quota too. So i am sure you could have got it if you attempted the counselling. Could you please share if you got a seat in 2021 and any extra info?

I scored 139 out of 180 in aeee exam. What rank can I get? In what campus can I expect a seat in Cse?

Akanksha 5th Aug, 2021
Hello Aspirant

With your score of 139/180 marks you can expect a rank around 6500. This is just a predicted rank and your actual rank may vary.

To get into Computer Science Engineering branch in any of the Amrita campuses, then you need to get a rank below 2000 if you are from open category.
If you have state quota then it will be an added advantage to you. To get into Computer Science Engineering branch in Amrita college, Coimbatore you need to get a rank below 14000 if you are from state category. If you are seeking for Amrita Amritpuri campus or Bangalore campus then you need a rank below 10000 for CSE branch with home state quota.

So if you have home state quota then you can get into any of the Amrita campuses with CSE branch. If you are from open category then it will be difficult to get CSE branch depending upon your actual rank.

I got 102 marks out of 180 in AEEE what will be my rank and branch getting if I have home state reservation? please do reply

Akanksha 31st Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant

With a score of 102/180 marks in AEEE 2021 you can expect a rank around 16000. This is just an estimated rank and your actual rank may vary.

Now to get into CSE branch from Amrita Coimbatore you should have a rank of 8000 or below if you have state quota.
As you have mentioned that you have state quota for Amrita campus then it would have been an added advantage of would have scored around 120-130 marks.

You have less chances to get CSE branch. You need a score more than 150 marks to get into CSE branch from any of the Amrita campuses. With your score you can get into Mechanical branch. But still wait for your actual rank list.
