I got 116 in aeee can I get scholarship for automation and robotics at amrita university coimbatore

Akanksha 29th Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant

With a score of 116/180 marks in AEEE 2021, you can expect your rank around 14000.

Scholarships in Amrita campuses are based upon merit. Scholarship is given to toppers in AEEE.
The scholarship amount in Amrita university is 25% , 50% and 90% of tuition fees.
To get a scholarship you should have a rank below 1000. In order to get this rank your score should be more than 160 marks.

So it is difficult for you to get a scholarship based upon your AEEE marks. You can still try for other scholarships provided under various categories.

Hope this helps
Good Luck!!

How many months is one semester in Amrita engineering college for btech and first sem how many days we will get holiday? What are the class timings, when will the college reopen (according to you). Will we get holiday in Saturdays, online class timings in a day?,

medsra159 28th Jul, 2021
Dear leaner,
Due to covid 19, every thing predicted in internet is not true so we could not know about re-open of the college date exactly, regarding class timings ,starts from morning 8:10 to evening 4 pm ,each week atleast 35 hours of classes are conducted , inspite Saturday is also a working day ,compared to other colleges amritha has more number of holidays ,public holidays and so on ,and here usage of phone is strictly restrictive, but laptop are adviced.

Exam schedule is released before one month of commencement
They have 2 end semester and mainly ends at may,June
Duration of semester for btech takes 8 months .
For good attendence students score extra marks in internals
96-100% attendance scores 5 marks
91- 95% attendance scores 4 marks
All the best.

i got 132/180 can you predict my rank and can i get cse in Coimbatore

Aditya 27th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

At first congratulations on your success in AEEE. You have a very descent score but your chances of getting the mentioned seat is very slim because of the highest demand of course among the candidates and very limited intakes. With the score you have mentioned and going along with the past trends of Marks vs Rank, your rank could lie around 5k which would be insufficient to fetch you the desired seat. The cutoff for CSE at Coimbatore campus under open quota is around 1.5-2k , to get the detailed cutoff information click on https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff

Your chances will be boosted and are better if you are eligible for state quota reservation whose cutoff goes around 10k for the mentioned program.

Hope it helps!!

I can register for mechanichal enginering at amrita university coimbatore but its a bit too expensive but amritapuri looks abit affordable but i have heard that it has lower placements than coimbatore so what should I do ...... please help

Abhishek Roy 24th Jul, 2021

Incase youre planning for Placements and securing a Job directly post BTech, I believe you should consider Amrita Coimbatore, considering the strong placements in Mechanical Engineering, even if it comes at a Higher Tuition Fee.

However, even if youre 5% inclined towards pursuing Masters/MBA/MTech/PhD after your BTech in some of the Higher Technical and Managerial Institutes of India, you may select Amritapuri Campus over Coimbatore as the Curriculum is same, and then it depends on your Dedication, secondly Amritapuri also has some scope of fair placements.

I got 102, marks in AEEE.I Have home state reservation in kerala. So will I get cse and what will be my rank with this mark(approximate rank needed please)?

Virat Srivastava 22nd Jul, 2021

Dear candidate, they do not provide marks but I can provide you approximate cut off of Amritapuri campus:

  • Computer Science Engineering                          16547

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering  19408

  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering               19969

  • Mechanical Engineering                                       17642

These cutoffs are of State quota. However, students of that college to bring rank under 5K-6K you need 140+ marks. The above mentioned cut offs may vary by 500 as these cutoffs are of 2017. For more information, you can check:

can i get amrita college for cse in 115 marks

Akshita Dhiman 22nd Jul, 2021
Hello aspirant,

A rank below 2k can get into CSE at Amrita Coimbatore Campus with an open quota. With the state quota, the cut-off ranks can go up to 13k also.

Also, the rankings vary every year, it is difficult to predict an exact rank as total, candidates, difficulty level of the exam, seat availability, candidates who have applied through other scores and so on also have to be taken into account.

Even though a separate list is prepared for AEEE and JEE scores, there is no separate round of counseling. Only one centralized counseling is held for all scores which again affects the seat availability.

Please wait for the rank list to be published and hope for the best. As you have a decent score you are bound to get a decent branch at Amrita.

To gain an insight about the previous year cut off rankings, please access the below link:

I hope this information helps!

Thank you!

I got 102 marks I am from kerala. So can i get cse with home state reservation from kerala to apply in amritapuri campus. Is kerala home state reservation there for Amritapuri campus

Aditya 21st Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Yes you will be eligible to avail the benefits of state quota for admission in Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham if you are a resident of Kerala or have completed secondary/senior secondary Studies from the state. There is relaxations in cutoff ranks for the candidates applying under State quota moreover 50 percent of the seats are kept reserved in every course for such candidates.

Hope it helps!!

I got 102 marks in amrita exam. i have home state reservation as i am from kerala. Will i get cse in amritapuri campus. I was expecting more, this was my last chance will i get cse in amritapuri campus via home state reservation?

Akanksha 21st Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant

With a score of 103/180 in AEEE 2021, you can expect a rank around 11000. To get a seat in Computer science Engineering in Amritapuri campus, you should have a minimum rank of 5000 or below for open category. According to previous year's cutoffs, the cutoff for state quota category would be between 14000-15000.

As you mentioned you have a state quota then there are equally likely chances that you can get a CSE seat in Amritapuri campus.

If you don't get a CSE seat, you can get Electronics and communication Engineering with your rank if you are interested in this field.

All the best!!

my rank is 15000 should iget coimbatore branch of amrita cse

Aditya 9th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

It is almost impossible for you to get computer science and engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore with the mentioned rank. Due to tough competition and less number of seats, the cutoff is very high for the CSE course. Even the cutoff for state quota of SC/ST domicile is closed at 10k rank.

You can get detailed cutoffs at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff

Hope it helps!!
