i got 96 in aeee 2021 and 84 percentile in jee mains(i have applied with both) i belong to general category and am from Bangalore... will i get cse seat in amrita college Bangalore?
Hello,
I got 82 percentile in AEEE 2022 and got rank 6800 and one of my friends got 91-2 percentile and rank round 3000. By this score, I can get into cse amritapuri. Since you are from Bangalore and i assume you did your 11th and 12th there, then you will get state quota too. So i am sure you could have got it if you attempted the counselling. Could you please share if you got a seat in 2021 and any extra info?
I wrote AEEE and I also have 72 percentile in JEE mains. Can I get CSE or ECE in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University Coimbatore by applying my JEE percentile in the councelling process. I belong to the state quota.
Based on your percentile in JEE mains, your expected rank will be 385500 - 264400. Although you haven't mentioned your AEEE rank. The previous years cut-offs for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University Coimbatore under state quota is 10000 - 22500. For Electronics and Communication Engineering it is from 6800 to 19800 approximately. And for Computer Science Engineering it is 1813- 13800. Based on your AEEE rank you can estimate your possibility of admission.

I scored 139 out of 180 in aeee exam. What rank can I get? In what campus can I expect a seat in Cse?
With your score of 139/180 marks you can expect a rank around 6500. This is just a predicted rank and your actual rank may vary.
To get into Computer Science Engineering branch in any of the Amrita campuses, then you need to get a rank below 2000 if you are from open category.
If you have state quota then it will be an added advantage to you. To get into Computer Science Engineering branch in Amrita college, Coimbatore you need to get a rank below 14000 if you are from state category. If you are seeking for Amrita Amritpuri campus or Bangalore campus then you need a rank below 10000 for CSE branch with home state quota.
So if you have home state quota then you can get into any of the Amrita campuses with CSE branch. If you are from open category then it will be difficult to get CSE branch depending upon your actual rank.

I got 102 marks out of 180 in AEEE what will be my rank and branch getting if I have home state reservation? please do reply
With a score of 102/180 marks in AEEE 2021 you can expect a rank around 16000. This is just an estimated rank and your actual rank may vary.
Now to get into CSE branch from Amrita Coimbatore you should have a rank of 8000 or below if you have state quota.
As you have mentioned that you have state quota for Amrita campus then it would have been an added advantage of would have scored around 120-130 marks.
You have less chances to get CSE branch. You need a score more than 150 marks to get into CSE branch from any of the Amrita campuses. With your score you can get into Mechanical branch. But still wait for your actual rank list.

Hello,
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth is a private engineering college. There so many departments are offered. And BTech in CSE one of them. So if you are want join this college then you have to give entrance examination. Like JEE Mains or tamilnadu entrance examination. This college present in Coimbatore. It is NAAC aggregate grade A college .

what all specific topics is needed in electrical and computer engineering first semester in amritha engineering college from class 11 and 12? how many months is one sem and how many days we get holiday after first sem?
Hello aspirant,
The semester I for Electrical and Computer Engineering are listed below:
- Engineering Physics - A/ Engineering Physics Lab-A
- Engineering Chemistry-B/Engineering Chemistry Lab - B
- Manufacturing Practice
- Engineering Graphics
- Cultural Education and Technical Communication.
- Single Variable Calculus and Matrix Algebra
- Ordinary Differential Equation
- Problem Solving and Algorithmic Thinking
Your 11th and 12th Maths will do, especially Calculus, differential equations, and Matrices. The first semester will be 22 credits.
Also, things like semester holidays and duration will have to be checked on the university website or contact their helpdesk. Usually, a semester is 5-6 months long and the academic calendar is released before the commencement of the session.
You can still confirm the same by visiting the website. The link is below:

I hope this information helps!
Thank you!
I got 116 in aeee can I get scholarship for automation and robotics at amrita university coimbatore
With a score of 116/180 marks in AEEE 2021, you can expect your rank around 14000.
Scholarships in Amrita campuses are based upon merit. Scholarship is given to toppers in AEEE.
The scholarship amount in Amrita university is 25% , 50% and 90% of tuition fees.
To get a scholarship you should have a rank below 1000. In order to get this rank your score should be more than 160 marks.
So it is difficult for you to get a scholarship based upon your AEEE marks. You can still try for other scholarships provided under various categories.
Hope this helps
Good Luck!!
How many months is one semester in Amrita engineering college for btech and first sem how many days we will get holiday? What are the class timings, when will the college reopen (according to you). Will we get holiday in Saturdays, online class timings in a day?,
Due to covid 19, every thing predicted in internet is not true so we could not know about re-open of the college date exactly, regarding class timings ,starts from morning 8:10 to evening 4 pm ,each week atleast 35 hours of classes are conducted , inspite Saturday is also a working day ,compared to other colleges amritha has more number of holidays ,public holidays and so on ,and here usage of phone is strictly restrictive, but laptop are adviced.
Exam schedule is released before one month of commencement
They have 2 end semester and mainly ends at may,June
Duration of semester for btech takes 8 months .
For good attendence students score extra marks in internals
96-100% attendance scores 5 marks
91- 95% attendance scores 4 marks
All the best.
i got 132/180 can you predict my rank and can i get cse in Coimbatore
Hi aspirant,
At first congratulations on your success in AEEE. You have a very descent score but your chances of getting the mentioned seat is very slim because of the highest demand of course among the candidates and very limited intakes. With the score you have mentioned and going along with the past trends of Marks vs Rank, your rank could lie around 5k which would be insufficient to fetch you the desired seat. The cutoff for CSE at Coimbatore campus under open quota is around 1.5-2k , to get the detailed cutoff information click on https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff
Your chances will be boosted and are better if you are eligible for state quota reservation whose cutoff goes around 10k for the mentioned program.
Hope it helps!!
I can register for mechanichal enginering at amrita university coimbatore but its a bit too expensive but amritapuri looks abit affordable but i have heard that it has lower placements than coimbatore so what should I do ...... please help
Incase youre planning for Placements and securing a Job directly post BTech, I believe you should consider Amrita Coimbatore, considering the strong placements in Mechanical Engineering, even if it comes at a Higher Tuition Fee.
However, even if youre 5% inclined towards pursuing Masters/MBA/MTech/PhD after your BTech in some of the Higher Technical and Managerial Institutes of India, you may select Amritapuri Campus over Coimbatore as the Curriculum is same, and then it depends on your Dedication, secondly Amritapuri also has some scope of fair placements.
