see in official website of Anna university previous years papers for entrance test is not available. you can join social media group of anna university and may request current years students to upload the entrance papers or ask about syllabus or questions pattern.  I have mentioned the generalized syllabus of b.sc physics , you may  follow the below syllabus to study:

Part 2 : GENERAL PHYSICS, SOUND, HEAT AND THERMODYNAMICS : Gravitation and elements of space science - elasticity - surface tension - viscosity - Lissajou's figures - velocity of sound, ultrasonics and applications - acoustics of buildings - Recording and Reproduction of sound - Doppler effect. Calorimetry -Kinetic theory of gases - 1st, 2nd, 3rd Laws of thermodynamics - heat engines, low temperature physics -convection, conduction and radiation.

Part 3 : OPTICS AND SPECTROSCOPY : Reflection - Refraction - Mirrors - Lenses - defects in lenses - optical instruments - Photo metry- velocity of light - interference - diffraction - polarisation - crystal optics, classification of spectra infra-red , ultra violet and Raman spectroscopy.

Part 4 : ELECTRICITY ,MAGNETISM AND ELECTROMAGNETISM : Electrostatics , current electricity -electrolysis- thermo electricity - heating effect -magnetic materials- hysteresis - galvanometers - electromagnetic induction-bridge circuits - LCR circuits - motors and generators.

Part 5 : ATOMIC PHYSICS, NUCLEAR PHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS : Cathode rays - electron theory of metals - atomic structure, X-rays - application to crystallography - special theory of relativity - wave mechanics - size, charge, mass, spin of nucleus - Radioactivity - particle accelerators, nuclear reactions, nuclear - energy -cosmic rays, elementary particles .Series and parallel resonance circuits - valves - semiconductors - power supply amplifiers - oscillators -Modulation and detection-Radiation and wave propagation - Microwaves Electronic measuring instruments - T.V - Radar.

Dear Aspirant,

as per the previous years GATE score cutoff, the chances for you to be able to secure a seat at Anna University for ME in structural CEG is less. However there are other colleges where you are eligible for seat in ME branch,

Hello student fees of B.tech course in Anna university is Rs 55,000 for first year. Total fees is around Rs 1,80,000

Admission is on the basis of marks obtained in TNEA

ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in physics chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.
