what is the previous year cut off (2019) for b.tech food technology in anna university?

rajaman9300 Student Expert 21st Jun, 2020

Basically cutoffs changes every year as it depends upon various factors like Difficulty level of the paper, no. of students appearing for the paper, performance of the students in the entrance exam.

But in general if you consider previous year TNEA cutoffs then you can get Food technology with 96+ marks in good college's.

All the best!!

what should be the mark in physics chemistry and maths to get admission in Anna university through TNEA

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 16th Jun, 2020

HI,

SEE tnea counselling is based on 12th score, candidates who have passed 10+2 exam from tamil nadu or other state education board are eligible to apply. for others state candidates there is separate quota and cutoff , based on which admission is done. however for general category students h.s marks criteria is 50% marks in aggregate, for others category candidates marks criteria is 45% marks in aggregate.

now the cutoff score changes every year and it depends on number of participants, questions difficulty level, students category , choice of stream etc. for pcm aggregate score of 195-200 has decent chances for tier 1 colleges of anna university.

Cbsc students admission in b. Tech in anna university

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 16th Jun, 2020

Dear,

Admission depends on your cut off marks. Make your cut off like (maths) + (phyics/2) + (chemistry /2). This would bring you to a total of 200. To get admissions in Anna University, the safe zone for obc and open candidates may be 198 or above.. The automobile engineering is best in this college. Research and studies are best related to automobile engineering. All the best.

Hope this helps!

Hi I have completed my engineering study from Anna University in 2013 with 5 papers backlogs. Is there any way for credit transfer?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Jun, 2020

If you completed your Engineering in 2013, it is highly unlikely that the registration is still valid after 7 years. There is a specific maximum period of time during which you need to complete a course that you registered for. But in your case, the registration might have expired and you may have to re-register again. The credit transfer is an option once you complete the first year successfully. But for that there is a procedure which is available at: https://www.annauniv.edu/dsa/college-transfer.html . We would suggest you to reach out to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) about this.
