Aptitude test
Hello,
If you want to apply for admission to BS-MS degree in IISER through SCB channel in the year 2021 you must have passed 10+2 in the year 2020 or 2021 with Science stream from a recognised board. Also you must have studied Mathematics subject in 10+2 level. The admission will be based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. The cut off score for each board will be specified. If you haven't studied Mathematics in 10+2 level you are not eligible to apply for admission. Please read the FAQs using the link below

Hello there,
IISERs insist that to count only your 12th board marks, to calculate the score out of 500 required for checking eligibility. So,, even if your board reports which is the total of 11th and 12th, it would be preffered if you can include only the marks in your 12th boards. However, if there is no way to figure out your score only in 12th grade, and you know only the aggregate total, then that may be an issue. For this, it is better if you reach out to the JAC via email or phone, or post your query on the IISER Admission Forum Facebook page, where current IISER students can answer them.
Thank you.

No you cannot change your college just because you are living there. You must have been given a priority list to fill in your choices. In that list you should have kept Behrampur above Pune. But now since you got Pune, you can't change to Behrampur. However, I would say to not think much and go to Pune. IISER Pune is the best IISER we have whereas Behrampur is very new. The amount of opportunities, networking and facilities you will get in Pune is very huge than behrampur.
greetings!!
in iiser aptitude test there are 4 sections of mathematics, physics , chemistry and biology. each contains 30 questions. yes all the 4 sections are compulsory to attend. after getting BS- MS it's not compulsory but there is one paper in mathematics that is compulsory in first year .
Dear student,
You haven't mentioned the complete details in your query. Kindly mention the name of the examination you are referring to so that we could help you in the best possible way. Please mention complete details in your query so that we may understand your questions.
There are not a lot of data available from which it can be predicted more sophisticatedly. But I would say that a marks >110 will be great for UR category students.
You can visit the link provided to have more info regarding the examination:

Hi.
No you do not need to give CAT Exam for admission into UG Courses in a government college.
The Common Admission Test is a computer based test for admission in a graduate management program.
The entrance exam for govt. colleges depends upon the course you wish to get enrolled into, such as, if you want to pursue engineering then you need give JEE Mains exam, if you want to pursue medical sciences then you need give NEET Exam and so on.
If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck.
Hello Dear,
The initial recommendations included proposals for conducting the entrance exam twice a year. However, for the 2021-22 academic session, the entrance test is proposed to be conducted once a year. The students will have the option of appearing for the entrance exams for more than a year. The government is planning to implement a Common Aptitude Test for admission in all central universities including Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Good Luck
