Heard of implementation of Common Aptitude Test for admission in central universities (DU) will it be implemented from dis year(2021)?
Hello Dear,
The initial recommendations included proposals for conducting the entrance exam twice a year. However, for the 2021-22 academic session, the entrance test is proposed to be conducted once a year. The students will have the option of appearing for the entrance exams for more than a year. The government is planning to implement a Common Aptitude Test for admission in all central universities including Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

After passing from UP Board I will repeat my class 12. I also want to give IISER aptitude test after that. will they consider my up board mark sheet or nios mark sheet?
Hello!
Yes, you can do that. You can pass the on demand examination from NIOS if you are not staisfoed with your previous result of UP boards. This mode allows you to appear for senior secondary examination after passing your 12th to upgrade your knowledge. But you may not get a transfer and migartion certificate, so you may have to apply separately for that. You must apply in IISER SCB channel using the latest/improved 12th passing certificate and marksheet you have(i.e the NIOS board). So, there is no need to use your UP board result.
The NIOS board is recognised all over India, so you do not need to worry about it.
Hope you are clear!

its in the news that in 2021 there will be common aptitude test to get admission in central universities whoch include amu jnu bhu du...what will happen to the du merit based courses will they be still merit based or they will also be included in the common aptitude test?
Hello Mohammad Saqib,
There is no information for University of Delhi conducting entrance examination for the merit based courses. So, till now admission will be as usual done on the basis of percentage scored in class 12 for the merit based courses. But for the latest information, it is recommended to visit the official website of Delhi University.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
will common aptitude test be conducted for du from 2021 for Bsc maths honrs.
Hey!
DUET is conducted to get admission in UG courses such as Btech or BA. But the admission for BSC courses are done on the merit basis. And to be eligible for admission in DU, you need to have atleast 60% in 10+2 mathematics. There is no entrance exam for BSC mathematics honours.
