At this rank you holds very low chances of getting admission in top NITS And IITs. You can go for private and state universities by giving their entrances . After seeing your percentile my personal advice is that to prepare for next attempt with full dedication to do better and score above 90

Yes studying Architecture course in NIT is better than studying in Private Engineering Colleges in Karnataka. Because the value is more if you study in NITs. To get seat in this course in NITs you should get good rank in JEE Mains Paper-2.

see cutoff score usually change in every year and it depends on some of the factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix and so on. based on gate 2019 , iit kgp cutoff for city planning was 728 , iit roorkee cutoff of Urban and Rural Planning - 651.

I hope you are doing good . I would like to tell you holds less than 50 percent chance of getting admission in any NIts. I advise you to prepare and do a little better and get admission in top nits like allahabad or trichy which do have very good placements and do have very brand name.
