what are the uses of NCC certificate in army

Subhrajit Mukherjee 13th Dec, 2020

For the candidates who aspire to join the defence forces, NCC ' C ' certificate is a golden opportunity for them to go to SSB directly. These candidates are exempted from giving the common entrance exam and are called directly for SSB.

Basically the NCC provides a basic experience to its cadets which is required in Army. So as the NCC's have basic understanding of the discipline , they are exempted of the exam.

For analogy , you can say that the NCC is like a diploma before a degree course. The uses of NCC certificate is like that in army.

Have a great day!

Iam in class 11th my aim is is teritorial army but my 10th marks was not good but i will score good marks in 12th I am elijabale or not

Sharon Rose Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021

Hello,

To be eligible for TES entry is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum 70%  aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from recognized education boards. The marks scored in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in class 12th only will be considered. Marks scored in class 11th or class 10th are not considered. To have decent changes of getting a call for SSB interview you need to score above the cut off percentage. So you should aim to score 85-90% marks in class 12th. The age of the applicant must be in between 16.5 year to 19.5 years at the time of applying for the entry. Candidates qualifying the SSB interview need to undergo Medical test. Upon clearing the medical test, a merit list is prepared based on the merit of each candidate depending on the number of vacancies.

On which things I need to focus more for the Army Dental Corps interview? I got rank of of 543 in the NEET MDS this year.

Pakshal Ghiya 9th Dec, 2020

Hello Candidate,

Congratulations for your brilliant achievement .

Firstly, seeing the last years' cutoff trends, a neet rank of 543 has a high probability of being called for interview.

Your basic knowledge about dentistry needs to be very strong, which aint that difficult had you been already preparing for neet. Just keep polishing it again and again.

Second but more important is the confidence and the way of presenting yourself. There are lot of videos on youtube regarding facing an interview, plus many of my answers do cover it too.

Thirdly ask yourself, why do you wanna join the Army as a Dental Officer. Every organisation you want to join will invariably want to know your reason of joining. So be well prepared for it.

And also, always speak of your heart, dont bluff for those who interview you had been doing it for years and they don't even take a fraction of second to catch you bluffing.

All The Best.
