Hello,,

In the department of Visual Arts, HPU(Shimla) offers MA Painting for which eligibility is that candidate having 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks (in case of SC/ST it's 45% or 40% marks) in the subject concerned (any stream of Visual Arts/Fine Arts) in B.A./B.F.A. shall be eligible for admission to M.A. Course in Visual Arts (Specialization in Painting).10% weightage is strongly  given to those who are having painting as subject/specialization in B.A./B.F.A. Admission is done via entrance test conducted by the university. And,there's M.A. Performing Arts (Music) for which eligibility is candidate having 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject concerned in B.A.

The application forms for admission in HPU shall commence from April and exams will be conducted in May. Although no exact dates are confirmed, things may change considering the outbreak of the pandemic, but eventually you'll need to show your original documents at the time of admission, else even you qualify entrance, your admission may not take place.
