How was placement in ece in Assam University Silchar

Mghv 2nd Nov, 2021

Dear Vamshi,

Assam University, Silchar has great placement records. The university has a placement cell that keeps posting placement drives by various organisations with details on the University website. 50% of the students were placed and 70% received offers for internships with various organisations.    Most of the faculty members are from IIT Guwahati, so it is good to study from them. The students are getting placed as the HOD of our department has good contacts with the companies like BYJU's and other firms. The infrastructure is similar to IIT Guwahati, and all the equipment is new as it is newly opened. If you have good relationship with teachers, they can help you get internships at IITs and abroad.

Hope this helps.

All the Best!!

You hold a low chance for an mbbs seat in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet 2020, 425 marks for obccategory was the lowest mark to get an mbbs seat in Government Medical College, under Assam State quota and it was forDighu Medical College, Diphu

will i get any core branch in aec with my rank 580 in assam cee 2021? (general) if not then in jec?

nanditamurmu85 23rd Dec, 2021

Hello,

Congratulations for the score. It will be a little tough to get in to Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. As the ranking and scores change every year. So apart from these two branches, you get all the other branches.

If you score well in the first semester exam you can change your branch.

Get more information in the link below

It may not be much difficult for you to take admission in JEC as you can opt for a Lateral Entrance Examination for Lateral entry which only after completing Polytechnical Degree.

Hope this is helpful

How many marks safe for general category in Assam State quota neet 2021

rajeevanand843 22nd Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant

NEET 2020 lowest cut off marks for general category student through Assam State quota counselling was 529+ marks.

As these year question papers was quite lengthy and time taking and compartively tough then last year so there is probable chances of cut off drop by some 5-10 marks.

So if you are scoring above than 520+ marks in Gen category in Assam then you might get a govt college through state quota counselling.

Use NEET UG college predictor tool to know your other admission possibilities for MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses.

------------) number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the jee main examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

But yes,

As per 2020 cut off,

>>>>>>> with 18k ews  rank

Yes, you have chances for NIT silchar under Assam home state

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,

----------) Under home  state, 19826 EWS  rank for gender neutral got  civil engineering in National Institute of Technology Silchar.

You also have chances for branches like

  • Electrical engineering

  • Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

This prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
