Im getting 140 Mark in neet belong ( st) category than i get to admission any government college in assam

rajeevanand843 13th Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant

In every state the competition is rising day by day in NEET exam. So you should try to score as good marks as you can besides category.

Assam have two type of ST category in state they are ST-P (plain area) and ST-H (hilly areas). So last year cut off for St category in Assam for govt college was ST-P - 345 marks & ST-H -264 marks.

So if we see previous year trend, you have no chance of getting govt medical College in St category at your expected marks.

Use NEET UG college predictor tool to know your other admission possibilities for MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses.

is 340 marks enough to get a seat in medical college in assam neet2021

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Sep, 2021

Hi

I am assuming you from general category.

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

But yes,

when we go through previous year trends  available at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-assam

You have low chances in government colleges with your marks in assam and there are no private medical colleges in Assam offering mbbs etc

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :--

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

----------) Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks

----------) Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data  but  cutoff keeps changing so to have clear picture of the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not with your marks in a  medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with  your marks ,

I got 92.613%le in JEE MAINS 2021 (Im General Category and my Home State is Assam) I will be getting a seat in NIT Silchar in JoSAAA but I want a seat in NIT Rourkela. Can I get a seat in NIT Rourkela in CSAB rounds as last year many seats got vacant for NIT Rourkela??

RUPAYAN PAL PLAYS 12th Sep, 2021

Dear Student,

There is little to no chance of getting NIT Rourkela with the JEE Mains score of 92.613 percentile in the CSAB rounds. The seats always gets filled during the counselling and some students leave the college after the counselling thus creating the "vacancy". So the chances of getting a seat in NIT Rourkela is low. You may try other NITs and as you have mentioned you will get a seat in NIT Silchar so congrats!

Good Luck!

I have secured 155 marks with a rank of 529 in Assam CEE. Will I be able to get CSE branch in Jorhat Engineering College?

Manas Daspriya 9th Sep, 2021

Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) is the authority that determines the Assam CEE cutoff marks 2021.The Assam CEE 2021 cutoff is the minimum marks that a candidate has to score in order to get admission in the desired participating institute and B.Tech programme.

As you scored 155 and seeking admission in CSE branch in Jorhat Engineering College. I would say that you have very good chance for getting into this branch of JEC.
