"Salutations,
Being a member of the Assam Tribune, I want to draw your attention about a road accident which took place a couple of days ago on the outskirts of the city.

I request you to take the proper steps and measures so that the problem could be solved out in the most effective and complete manner."
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 174107 - 195722 and EWS rank is around 26000-27000 , you can check out marks Vs CRL ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

And your EWS rank is expected to be around 26,000-27000
So you have quite low chances to get NIT Silchar with any of the branch even if you have Home state quota.
But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 86+ then you might have a shot at NIT Silchar.
Hi Aspirant
There are several stages to determine rank, including percentiles from all attempts, normalisation, and highest and lowest raw scores. Candidates highest raw scores would be normalised to a 100 percentile score for their particular session. The percentage score for each session will be determined by the total number of applicants who took the exam.
When it comes to Category Rank (EWS-Home University), you'll require a rank of 8000 to 18000 to get into NIT Silchar. The 82 percentile corresponds to a rank of around 157404. So you can get admission for Electrical engineering, Civil engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at NIT Silchar.
Hope this helps!
All the very best!
