I have scored 82.9806952 Percentile in JEE Main, 20th July, Shift 1. What will be my All India Rank and Category Rank (EWS)? Can I get NIT Silchar? Assam is my Home State also. Please anyone tell me. Har Har Mahadev.

There are several stages to determine rank, including percentiles from all attempts, normalisation, and highest and lowest raw scores. Candidates highest raw scores would be normalised to a 100 percentile score for their particular session. The percentage score for each session will be determined by the total number of applicants who took the exam.
When it comes to Category Rank (EWS-Home University), you'll require a rank of 8000 to 18000 to get into NIT Silchar. The 82 percentile corresponds to a rank of around 157404. So you can get admission for Electrical engineering, Civil engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at NIT Silchar.
