You can apply for admission to Undergraduate Engineering and Technology courses thorugh TNEA Counselling. TNEA 2019 admission process will be conducted by Anna University and admission is based on the normalized marks of 10+2 (qualifying exam) only, and no separate entrance test will be held.
For example, PSG College of Technology offers BE Robotics and Automation Engineering.
Other state candidates can also apply for admission through TNEA Counselling and eligibility criteria is -
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (40% for SC and ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
And, TANCET is the exam for admission to post graduate courses. So, you will not have to appear for the TANCET exam.
