Placements for History and Language Sciences at the University of Hyderabad are generally limited due to the nature of these courses, which are more academic. However, the university has strong academic reputation, and students often pursue research or competitive exams.
Economics at Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has a growing reputation. Placement support is improving, but many students go for higher studies or government exams after graduation.

With 219 marks and AIR 7,21,128 in NEET 2025 (General Category), it is very difficult to get a Government BAMS college in Maharashtra. However, you may get a seat in private BAMS colleges through management quota or in the mop-up/stray vacancy rounds if seats remain vacant.
You should also apply through the Maharashtra State AYUSH counselling portal and explore private BAMS colleges.
Hii,
Students from other states can definitely apply for BAMS at Patanjali Ayurvedic College, Haridwar. Admission is generally done through the AYUSH NEET counselling conducted by AACCC . For students from outside Uttarakhand, you’ll have to apply under the All India Quota (AIQ). Once NEET results are out, you need to register on the AACCC portal, select Patanjali College during choice filling, and wait for the seat allotment. Make sure to keep your documents and NEET score ready. The college may also have some internal selection policies, so check their official website as well.
Thank you!
Other state students can secure admission to BAMS at Patanjali Ayurved College, Haridwar via the AIQ (All India Quota) counselling conducted by AACCC, after qualifying in NEET-UG. You cannot apply through Uttarakhand state quota—only AIQ is available for outside state candidates.
If a person completes BAMS and works as a gynecologist for 9 years, the salary depends on their qualification and place of work.
BAMS doctors cannot officially become modern gynecologists, but if they do a post graduation in Ayurvedic gynecology like MD in Stri Roga and Prasuti Tantra, they can treat women’s health issues through Ayurveda.
After 9 years of experience:
If working in a private hospital or clinic, the salary can be between Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,50,000 per month depending on the location and number of patients.
If working in a government Ayurvedic hospital, the salary can be around Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 per month depending on experience and promotion.
If running their own private Ayurvedic clinic, they can earn even Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh per month if they are well known and have many patients.
So, a BAMS doctor with 9 years of experience in Ayurvedic gynecology can earn between Rs 40,000 and Rs 3 lakh per month based on their setup and skills.

Some of them are:
