Sir how to prepare IBPs pos and clerk posts what is the syllabus

Ankhi Banerjee 27th Aug, 2019

Hi,

IBPS PO and clerk is an examination where different banks participate in the recruitment process. The final selection is based after clearing 3 rounds i.e. preliminary, mains and interview. In the preliminary round you will have 3 sections i.e. english, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning while in the mains 2 more subjects will be added i.e. computer knowledge and general awareness along with the preliminary exam syllabus. The syllabus for both PO and clerk is same. You have to know the syllabus and practice thoroughly in order to be prepared for the exam.

You can get a detailed syllabus in the link below:

What is the bright future andjob for a non medical student

kartikjain2548 Student Expert 24th Aug, 2019

Hello,

There are many feilds other than medical to have a bright future. In your graduation you can go for engineering, b.sc, law etc. feilds. And after that you can appear for exams like Civil Services, SSC, CAT, Gate& ESE( for engg. graduates), bank exams.

All you have mentioned bank clerk in tags. It is also a good option. But why do you want to stop on clerk post why not go for PO or officer level post. If you are determined you can easily crack them. You can appear for exams like SBI PO, SBI clerk, BOB, RBI, IBPS etc.

Sir i am second year student of(B.B.A Hons.).Am i allow to fill the bank clerk form

pdwords Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019

Hello,

Criteria varies like in this year for SBI Clerk, they specified final year students can apply provided they show the proof of having qualified at the prescribed date set by them.

So, YES for sbi clerk.

Now, coming to IBPS Clerk, this year official notification is yet to be out, although exams dates have been announced, as per last year notification, they strictly specified in their post a candidate to have completed  Graduation  to be eligible for exam.

This same rule applies for IBPS RRB recruitment as well, which came out for this year.

Sir,it is possible to do bank preparation and in side MBA preparation like cat exam.so,it is possible to crack cat exam with bank preparatio

rehan18alam Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

As for the syllabus part, there is some similarity between the bank PO exam and CAT exam but in fact, they both are quite different exams. In CAT both the level and complexity is a bit higher.

For the preparation part, yes you can prepare for both exams side by side, but it is that you have to study some more variety of questions for CAT. Moreover, you have to set your priority. If you are serious about the CAT exam then you have to give more hours to it. Give some free mocks available to first identify your string and weak areas and then work on your weak areas more alongside the bank preparation.

MOCKS are very very important and do not skip them.

Here are few links for you:-

Thanks.

How to get a bank cleark job? Are there any specific exams for it?

Deepali Bansal 26th Jun, 2019
HELLO SARFARAAZ

I am assuming you are a graduate. You have two options: public sector banks, which hire through the IBPS exams, for Probationary Officer (PO) roles and Clerical roles. SBI has a seperate exam. The exam, which constitutes of questions related to Quantitative aptitude, reasoning, verbal, General awareness and computer knowledge. It is highly competitive. The other option is private sector banks (ICICI, HDFC, Axis, etc). There are many new private sector banks coming up (Janalakshmi Bank for example: a total of 18 ), so there is a lot of scope here. They hire thousands of graduates for sales operational roles. You can apply on any job site like Jobs - Recruitment - Job Search - Employment - Job Vacancies - Naukri.com . My suggestion would be, do a relevant certification before the interview, as your CV will stand out among thousands of applicants; you will have also some prior knowledge and your chances of getting job will be higher. The options here are Times Pro, IFBI and FLIP. Times Pro and IFBI's courses are for about 6 months , you have to attend classes if there is a center in your city . FLIP Smart Banker certification courses are online, and will cost about 17000. They are also official education partner for Finacle (Infosys software used by most banks) and certification is with Infosys..try whichever interests you.

How to Apply for Bank Recruitment 2019?

There has basically two way to apply:

1. Online: When we post a job than where you can see the online apply tab. you can apply online directly through the online apply tab & another way to apply online is go to the official website of the bank and there you can find the application form

2. Offline: Some Banks are accepting the only offline application. Now do not need to wary. we are with you. Just look into download Application form tab and download the Application form and check the How to Apply tab.

The Preliminary sections of any banking exam is almost the same whereas Mains exam varies from exams to exams. Below is the exam pattern for bank preliminary exam:

Sections No of questions / Maximum marks Time duration

Reasoning Ability 35/35 60 Minutes

Quantitative Aptitude 35/35

English Language 30/30

Total 100/100

There is no specific exam pattern for bank mains exam as different banking exam follows a different pattern in the paper. The subjects included in the mains exam are as follows:

a) Reasoning Ability

b) Quantitative Aptitude

c) Computer Awareness

d) General Awareness

e) English Language

Knowing the exam pattern is not the only key to your preparation plan. You require more than that. You should be aware of the syllabus of the exam. Almost all banking exams mostly follow the same syllabus. You should be up-to-date with the topics included in the exam. This will help you in further preparing a blueprint for your preparation plan.

Once you have a fair knowledge of the exam pattern and the syllabus of the exam you are preparing for, it is time for you to swing into action and start your preparation.

HOPE IT HELPS
