Can 12th student Jion bank job

Hey,
The eligibility criteria to become a bank clerk includes minimum a graduation degree from any  government recognised University.
The other requirements include the candidate to be proficient in the official language of the state. Moreover,a candidate should be able to operate the computer and basic operation on it. The minimum age must be minimum 20 years and the maximum 28 years of age. There is five years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years age for OBC.

Yes you can apply for bank Clerical job after 12th, the exam for which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS


The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed 12th in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board or having completed Garduation in any stream from a recognised University.

It does depend on for which position you are applying for! If you are applying for the clerk position the exam is in month of August ! If you want to apply for the officer position you must be age of 21

For cracking SSC, you will have to be strong in subjects like maths, English, polity, history,geography and these are the subjects like in which you can do graduation too so you can pick any if the subjects for persuing your graduation and anyways your preparation will be irrelevant to what you study in graduation, though if you any of these subjects for graduation you might get a little bit help.

A person who was as an interest clerk maintains all the records of the interest which the bank has to pay to its customers and the interest which the bank has earned.

A person who wants to become a bank clerk should have a good grip on a mathematical calculation, computer skills, should be able to give attention to every minute details and at the same time should be very honest and trustworthy.

Recruitment Process of a Bank Clerk in Private Banks and in Government Banks:

To become a bank clerk of a private bank one has to clear IBPS Examination . IBPS is a common written exam and the total marks of the examination as 200. The paper is divided into 5 sections: General awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English language and computer knowledge. The marks distribution of each section is 40 and all the questions are in multiple-choice form.

However, a person who wants to work as a clerk in a government bank should clear SBI clerk entrance examination. This examination is divided into 2 parts: the preliminary examination and mains. In order to become a bank clerk, one has to clear both the examinations. Once a person has cleared both examinations, merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates. Candidates whose names are mentioned on the merit list are eligible to become a bank clerk.

How to Prepare for Bank Clerk Job:

One who is willing to become a bank clerk should have completed graduation from any recognised college and also be proficient in the regional language. Apart from this, a candidate should prepare himself or herself for the examination by practising quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English-language and current affairs.

For current affairs and general knowledge, the newspaper is a great source and for the other sections of the examination, one can practice from books and other sources like internet. It is also very important for an individual to know the latest syllabus and the tricks needed to solve different kinds of questions with ease.

Salary of Bank Clerk:

The basic salary of a bank clerk is around Rs 11000, however, apart from the basic salary bank clerk also gets different allowances. All the allowances are added to basic salary, total salary amount to somewhere near 20,000 per month.

A bank clerk is one of the best jobs in the country and every year almost all private as well as government banks recruit a massive amount of employees to work in the clerical positions. With the increase in the number of customers of every Bank, the need for clerks has increased.

You should maintain a minimum marks of 60% throughout your academic career if you want to clear banking. Better score would definitely give you an edge but maintaining 60% in indispensable. Moreover your score in the mains exam and group discussions and interviews in banking exams like SBI clerk or IBPS clerk will together decide your entry as a bank clerk.

Hello khushbu, there are various clerks exam of different banks.. you need to pass the preliminary exams of the clerk .. the exam is conducted every year near to about the june.. the details about the bank exams for doing clerk job are different!! You need to pay application fees .. the exam is for 100 marks which is dividend into various categories.. you need to pass this exam..

The candidate must be 20-28 years old. The candidate must possess the minimum qualification requirement of a graduate before applying for clerk cadre. He/She must hold a validdegreefrom a recognised State or Central University.

may god bless you with strength and courage.

i am inspired by your determination of having a government inspite of what has happened to you.

a bank clerk job would be fine for you to do,but still robin,as i can see you are still in 12th, i suggest you to keep your options open and pursue more big than a bank clerk job.

you can sit for upsc exam and clear it inspite of the effect of accident.

you can be an IAS officer and you will be an inspiration to future generations.

please dont lose hope and be determined enough to crack the upsc exam
