what if i have submitted my jee main form in each btech and barch.. Do i have to appear for both papers in 2020??

Anurag Khanna 5th May, 2020

Hello,

If you have submitted the JEE-Main 2020 application form for both paper-1and paper-2 along with application fee than you are enrolled for both the papers.

You have to appear for both papers. Don't worry about timing of papers, papers will not conduct simultaneously.

At last it's your wish, in which paper  you want to appear or you can appear for both the papers.

For more details about JEE-Main 2020 you should read this article .

Feel free to ask any query.

Good Luck!!

Graduation is important otherwise you will end up in Group D job kyonki tumhare pas Graduation ki Degree hogi nai and tumhare pas sirf 12th ki pass Certificate aur uss basis pe bahaut hi less paying Jobs available hain like :

National Defence Academy (NDA), SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL), SSC Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), SSC Stenographer (Grade C and Grade D), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

So, to get a proper job in your area of interest you need to have a Graduation degree at least.

i got 93 percentile in barch . And iam a SC canditate .will i get nit trichy

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th May, 2020
Hello,
Your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100
In January session 112679 candidates appeared.
By calculation your rank is expected to be around 7883.And your category rank is expected to around 1000.The cut off was as follows for SC category in 2019 for NIT, Trichy

  • Home state: 271
  • Other state: 163
Considering this you may have very less chances of getting seat in this NIT.Cut off is subjected to depending on number of candidates appeared, highest score, previous year cut off etc.

you may predict the colleges using our JEE Main College predictor

which is best for scope, salary, abroad job among b.tech and b.arch.

Duggisetty Tarun 25th Aug, 2020

Hello ameer, hope you are doing well in these pandemic situation.

B ut present scenario btech has large scope compared to barch in India or in abroad.

The fee is depends on the Institute which you have selected. Normally b. arch has 30000 and b. tech has 60000.

When compared Engineers, architectures receive salary is 30% lower for freshers.

In b. Arch you does not have scope on all fields that means you are restrict to some fields only.

In b. tech it is your wish you can go amy field like software, hardware, telecom etc.,

I hope this information is clarity to choose your course.

All the best for your future.

can I use oil pastels in barch examination?

Smrity 8th Apr, 2020

Hey,

Yes you can use oil pastels in b.arch exams but i would suggest you to use crayons as oil pastels are quite heavy and can be problematic and they generally mention crayons  in examinations thus using crayons will be beneficial. Carry Hb pencils, extra pencils for the exams  as they ask only for Hb pencils.

I hope this helps.

All the best.

i got 97.2% in jee main barch in jan. can you calculate and show me the average chance for which nit i get

Aniket Sharma 4th Apr, 2020

hi Sinan,

For 97.2 percentile your rank should be around 28k or at least in the range of 25k - 30k. If you are a general candidate, for this rank you may not get good NIT, even if you get it you will not get good branch. You need  state quota to get lower branch in topmost NIT. You can get NIT Trichy - Production Engineering(if you have home state quota). NIT Warangal - Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Biotech(if you have state quota).   NIT Rourkela - Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, Bio Medical Engineering, Bio Technology, Ceramic Engineering(for other state) and if you have home state you can also get chemical and civil also.

NIT Surathkal - Mining, Metallurgical and Materials, Civil Engineering.(if you have home state quota). NIT Allahabad - Biotech(if you have home state quota).

If you want top branches like cse, it , ece, ee then you may get it in lower NITs if you have stae quota for those NITs.

I hope this answer will help!!
All the best for the future!!
