Shubham Dhane 4th Apr, 2020
Hello,

Is your question regarding JEE main?It is not clear You rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100 for paper 1
You rank is expected to be around 11818.In January session 869010 candidates appeared. In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear so your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100
For paper 2 your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100

I have confusion between b.arch and b.tech. which is best. which has scope. what is fee.

Duggisetty Tarun 29th Jul, 2020

Hii

Actually every one has the same type of confusion., but present scenario btech has large scope compared to barch in India or in abroad.

The fee is depends on the Institute which you have selected. Normally b. arch has 30000 and b. tech has 60000.

In b. Arch you does not have scope on all fields that means you are restrict to some fields only.

In b. tech it is your wish you can go amy field like software, hardware, telecom etc.,

I hope this information is clarity to choose your course.

All the best for your future.

  • SCMS School of Architecture, Ernakulam

  • DC School of Architecture and Design, Pullikkanam

i have filled btech/barch form in amu by mistake instead of btech only. should i also have to give paper 2, if i just want admission in btech.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 23rd Mar, 2020
Hello,

If you have filled then you should give the exams but you don't want to then there is no issue because its not compulsory to appear in B.Arch paper.
Although it will be compulsory to appear in Paper 1 for B.Tech.Papaer 2 is for architecture and is based on your choice whether to appear in that or not.

I hope this helps.

Avinash Garg 16th Mar, 2020

Hello!

There is good chance that you can qualify for JEE Advanced at this percentile.

You may have also applied for JEE Main April examinations. I suggest you to prepare better this time and increase your score. Good mark in JEE Main will secure your seat in NITs if by chance you would not able to get into IITs.
