The median salary is  1.8lakhs in these course . It is very hard to predict the placement ratio due to the confidentiality . I would suggest you to look for other options and if you go to gitam then work hard

A student who has pursued a different stream other than arts can also pursue LLB course of a 5 year program.

A science student is considered to be high in aptitude and the CLAT entrance exam requires high aptitude.

About 40% students studying in NLU's are from science stream.

The basic skills required  to study law are :

• Avid readers
• High observational skills
• good logical thinking
• and great social skills

These are already present in these stream students.

So it will be easy and at the end it is your efforts and skills which will help you in future in becoming a great lawyer.

You should definitely give CLAT and score high.

You have to clear The State Judicial Service Exam. After 2 years of probation the newly recruited Judges will be posted as Judicial Magistrate/Civil Judge. It will take around 20 years to get Promoted to from Judicial Magistrate post to District Judge, since it's a high post.

You can also become a District judge by Cracking the Higher Judicial Service Prelims, Main and Interview for the Post of Additional District and Session Judges.  For this, you need atleast 7 years of experience as a ln advocate.
