After B Ed you can start teaching classes like 5th to 9th. For teaching higher classes, you should have an experience of few years and an M.Sc or MA in the subject you want to teach.

Also some schools are now wanting NET Qualified and P.hd teachers for the higher classes like 11th and 12th.
