B.H.M.S.
Hi
Irrespective of the marks/ Rank obtained by you in AP EAMCET, youncannot get admission in BHMS/ BAMS
This is because,
Admission in bhms / bams is through neet only .
Neet is the single gateway for admission in all the medical colleges be it private or government including AIIMS and JIPMER for following courses
MBBS
BDS
Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and
veterinary i. e BVSc. . ( neet is mandatory for only all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, as some states also have their own entrance like RPVT in Rajasthan for state quota seats ).
Here's, how you can get into BAMS/BHMS
*******First of all appear in Neet examination.
*******Qualify neet examination. Qualifying cut off in neet is given below
General :- 50th Percentile
OBC:- 40th Percentile
SC :-40th Percentile
ST :- 40th percentile
To be on the safer side, target around 480 + marks for BAMS in a government college if you are from general category.
*******Participate in neet counselling. There are 2 counsellings :-
Ayush counselling by AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) :- It is conducted for 15% AIQ seats,
state counselling for 85% state quota seats
Details for counselling at :- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/admission-ayush-courses-through-neet
*******In the counselling, you can get a seat in a college on the basis of your rank in NEET examination and the category you belong to .
*******Then you have to report to the college and get your documents verified.
******* After document verification, finally you get admission in BAMS/BHMS in college
If you have appeared in NEET 2021 and have qualified it then,

Dear candidate with 386 marks as OBC NCL candidate your chances of getting BHMS courses remain moderate. But since you are opting for BHMS course, I would say it is indeed a clever decision. Moreover based on the past few years cut-off trends to get the idea regarding other possible colleges with this marks you can use our NEET UG College Predictor to predict your chances.
Hope it helps !!
Good luck!!
Firstly, let me tell you that each and every year the cut - off get changes depending upon many factors. This year lots of candidate had appeared for the NEET examination making the competition a bit more harder. Secondly for getting seat in any of the Govt.
