can i do btech or mtech integrated data science and then phd in biomedical engineering and then mba ? is it a good career path or should i do btech in bioinformatics and then msc in data science and then mba which has more scope in india

Aritra Pan 16th Jul, 2022
In my opinion it's better to do bioinformatics then msc in data science and then MBA rather than integrated b.tech and m.tech in data science cause bioinformatics is a vast area and you will have a great job opportunity in India and abroad.

i want to persue btech biomedical engineering in vit should i take biology or math for the viteee exam

Aditya kumar 16th Jul, 2022

hlwo aspirant

hope you are doing good

Biology is not that compulsory for giving Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Examination. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the previous qualifying examination. However there is a huge difference for reserved categories that they have to score only 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination for being eligible for the examination.

but if you want to study biomedical engineering you should take biology for viteee.

hope this is helpful for you

best of kuck for your viteee exam.

can i earn good money as it sectors doing bioinformatics or biomedical engineering ? in india ? will there be scope ?

Sayan 11th Jul, 2022

Hello,

India provides a wide range of opportunities for bioinformatics or biomedical engineering.

Scope of doing it are as follows :-

  • Some OEM Manufacturing Companies will also hire research engineers.
  • In hospitals, you can work as a biomedical engineer.
  • After completing a biomedical engineering degree, you may find employment as a sales, service, or application specialist at select MNCs.
  • You may become a biomedical entrepreneur; of all engineering specialties, biomedical engineering has the most potential for this.
  • To become a hospital manager, in which you have complete authority over hospitals, you can seek an MBA in hospital management or hospital administration.

Benefits of a Bioinformatics or Biomedical Engineering Career

  • It entails learning about every branch of engineering, including nanotechnology, mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering.
  • Due of the vast research prospects in this sector and the oversaturation of other engineering disciplines, all engineering disciplines now desire to conduct research in biomedicine.
  • If you have a desire to work closely with hospitals and doctors in the past, biomedical engineering will help you achieve that goal.

Good Luck!!

hello aspirant,

Although all the above mentioned courses after 12th has high future scope in the near future because all have a great importance in development and research fields. But i will suggest you to go for Artificial intelligence(AI) and Data Science course after class 12th.

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are amongst the hottest fields of the 21st century that will impactall segments of daily life by 2025, from transport and logistics to healthcare and customer service .

The entry-level annual average AI engineer salary in India is around 8 lakhs , which is significantly higher than the average salary of any other engineering graduate. At high-level positions, the AI engineer salary can be as high as 50 lakhs.

Further, to know more about the course of AI and data Science, its admission, course, scope, salary, etc - and much more complete details, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://dqxeclau.top/careers/data-scientist

among biotechnology and biomedical engineering, which has better scope?

Shivanshu 26th May, 2022

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing great ! I will tell you about both of them .

The scope of Biotechnology has expanded to diverse sciences like immunology, virology and other subjects like health, agriculture, cell biology, plant physiology, seed technology, etc . The job of a biotechnologist is to modify or manipulate living organisms in laboratories to develop new products..

Comes to the biomedical science, degree in biomedical science can be a gateway to working in many fields: education, research, sales, medical practice, and hospital and institutional work . Students also use this degree to pursue graduate study in the health professions to become a medical doctor, dentist, podiatrist, etc.

It can easily be said that biomedical science has little bit better scope than biotechnology. But i will suggest you to choose the field of your interest only .

Hope it helps you !

Thanks
